Component description
Please press and hold the reset button for about 5 seconds. You have reset the camera successfully when you hear the short voice.
It is recommended to insert a 4-64GB high-speed Micro TF card, otherwise, it will not be able to store, view historical video and support important functions such as firmware upgrading.

Download APP: scan the QR code below to download and install. Register and log in: open the YI IOT APP to register and log in according to the prompts.

Add The Device
Please make sure that the Goowls camera connects to a 2.4GHz Wi•FI network and
works well.(Not support SG network) Find the USG port on the bottom of the
device and plug In the power cord to power it on. please wait 20 seconds until
you hear ‘DiDiDr.
Then go to the APP home page, click on the main screen, configure according to
the instructions in the APP.

How to connect with Amazon Alexa
Requirement:
- Amazon Alexa device and Alexa app.
- the smart Wi-Fi camera connected with VI loT App.
- YI loT App user ID and password.
- Please make sure your Alexa device has been added in the ‘Add Device’ of the Alexa app
Add VI loT as a Skill for Alexa
Open the Alexa app and choose Skill & Games
-> Search for VI loT -> ENABLE TO USE -> Enter the VI loT account -> Authorize to use
-> And then, the device you added on VI loT App will sync to Alexa App.
Also, you can ask Alexa to discover new devices for you in this moment.
Note: you need to set an exact name for the smart camera on VI loT App, If not, Alexa may tell you: ” Sorry, I can’t find the device named xxx…”
How can I receive the notification from the app?
Step 1:Make sure to turn on the Motion detection.
- Enter the camera ‘Settings” of VI lot
- Find the smart Detection-Settings-Motion’
- Turn on the “Motion Detection”
- Choose Sensitivity Level ‘High’
- Schedule alert time’24-hour alert’
Step 2:Make sure to allow notification of phone.

Enter the “Setting-Apps-YI loT-Notifications-Allow notifications-Lock screen notifications-Show”
Step 3:Please make sure both camera and phone are well connected. 1)Enter the “setting” of the phone
- Find the VI lot app
- Click ‘Wireless Data-WLAN&Cellular Data’

avoid TF card damage or data loss.
