TH5320R1002 non-programmable FocusPRO (wireless) 2H/2C heat pump without
aux, 2H/1C with AUX or 2H/2C conventional. No IAQ.
Wired thermostat
Battery-powered, hard-wired, or mechanical| The HZ322 is compatible with most
standard thermostats. The HZ322 allows you to choose stage 2 (and stage 3)
control to be by thermostat, timer, or % of zones. If you want the thermostats
to control staging, multi-stage thermostats are required.
Power stealing or phantom voltage (Lyric round, etc.)| We do not recommend
using thermostats that operate on phantom voltage or power-stealing mode with
the HZ322. Some of these models have an optional C wire. Models tested with a
C wire worked correctly with the HZ322.
- RedLINK models without IAQ control need a THM4000R1000 wireless adaptor. One adaptor can be used for up to 3 RedLINK thermostats on HZ322. If IAQ control is required from the TH8321R1001 or THX9421R5021 model, a THM5421R1021 is required for the thermostat controlling IAQ equipment. That EIM wires to one of the zones on the HZ322.

FAQ’S
Do I have to purchase a transformer?
Yes. The HZ322 does not come with a transformer.
Can I use the HZ322 with a 24 VAC system?
No. The HZ322 will only work on systems that are 18-30 VAC.
What does a Honeywell HZ322 do?
The TrueZONE® HZ322 Panel is for conventional and heat pump applications up to 3 zones (2H, 2C) at 24 Volts. It features robust push terminals, common-sense LEDs, variable-speed fan control, and leaves a smaller environmental footprint.
What does a TrueZONE damper do?
The TrueZONE® Bypass constant pressure regulating damper (CPRD) is a round static pressure relief damper. It is used in forced-air bypass applications to relieve excess static pressure when some of the zone dampers are closed.
What can cause a Honeywell thermostat to stop working?
What can cause a Honeywell thermostat to stop working?
Put in new batteries; Check the circuit breaker; Check the indoor unit to make
sure all the panel doors are closed; Make sure the power is connected to the
furnace or air conditioning unit by checking the switch near the indoor unit
is up.
How do I reset my Honeywell thermostat that won’t turn on?
Resetting a Honeywell Thermostat
Power off the thermostat and remove the batteries.
Put the batteries in the wrong way, with negative to positive and positive to
negative.
Wait ten seconds and put them back in the correct way.
Your thermostat will be reset to factory settings.
What to do when the thermostat goes blank?
If your thermostat is blank, the first thing you should do is check the batteries. Chances are, the batteries have died and the thermostat simply can’t power on. Replace the batteries and see if your thermostat turns on.
What does red light mean on Honeywell HZ322?
I had one of these units in a two story house, and the red LED means that zone is closed, a green light means that it is open. So, for the panel on the left, the system is calling for heat, and only the Zone 3 damper is open (so the Zone 3 thermostat is the one calling for stage 1 heat.
What are the signs of a thermostat not working?
High-temperature readings
The main symptoms of a failing thermostat are related to engine overheating.
It can be easily noticed because the temperature gauge in the vehicle will
probably read unusually high. This can be caused by the valves being stuck in
a closed position.
How do I connect my Honeywell sensor?
Now remove the sensor cover and insert batteries. Then tap next then press the connect button on the sensor. Your unit will then search for the sensor.
How do you check a thermostat if it’s working?
Check the screen: Check the screen of the thermostat and make sure that it is lit. A blank or unlighted screen could indicate a thermostat failure. Check the batteries: Many modern thermostats rely on battery power to operate. If the screen is blank or unlighted, a battery change could solve the problem.
How do you activate a sensor?
The Activate Sensor Behavior (deactivate sensor) enables the Sensor on an Entity for as long as the behavior is active. To use an Activate Sensor Behavior a Perception Locator must be mapped to the Crowd Field (directly or through the Crowd Manager Node). Sensors don’t have any visible effect on the Crowd simulation.
