HOMMIE USB Bluetooth 5.0 Adapter User Manual

System Requirement

Easy Setup

Step l: Plug the USB adapter into PC port.
Step 2: Download the BT-501 driver .on the Hommie website: (See Picture l)

Step 3: Install driver and pair with your device by following the [User Manual].

Installation

To ovoid software infliction, please uninstall any previously instilled third- partly Bluetooth divers or management software on your computer before installing the BT-501 driver software.

The Default Bluetooth drivers provides by Microsoft Windows hove limited functionality, it will installed automatically after you inserting the USB adopter, you still need to install the full driver software on the Hommie website if you want to access full functionality (more Bluetooth profiles supported).

Installing Driver On The Hommie Website

1. Connect Bluetooth adapter to computer, down load the BT-501 driver on the Hommie website and run “Setup.exe” to start. ( See Picture 2 )
2. Click “Next” to start installation. ( See Picture 3 )
3. Click “Install” if there is a Warning window, check Always trust software from “Realtek Semiconductor Corp”, you need to restart the computer after installation finished. ( See Picture 4)
4. You will find “Realtek Bluetooth 5.0 Adapter” under Device Manager after driver software installed successfully. ( See Picture 5)

Pair With Your Device

1. Select the Bluetooth icon on the bottom right of system’s tool bar, then right click the icon and choose “Add a Bluetooth Device” from the context menu. (See Picture 6)
2. If you’re using Windows 8 or 10, you’ll see a screen like below. Just click the “Pair” button for the device you want to connect. (See Picture 7)

If you’re using Windows 7, you’ll see a similar screen, select the device you want to connect and then click “Next”.

Pairing A Device That Doesn’t show Up Automatically

If your device doesn’t appear below for some reason, click the “Add Bluetooth or other device” button located at the top of the Settings Window. (See Picture 8)

Pair With A Cell Phone

1. Click “Add a Bluetooth Device”. (See Picture 9)
2. Select the cell phone you want to pair with and click “Next”. At the same time, a code will pump up on both the system ans cell phone. Click “Start to Pair” on your phone and “Next” on computer to activate pairing process. (See Picture 10)
3. When pumps out “Your device is ready to go”, it means pairing process is done. Click “Done” and feel free to personalize setting at Control Interface. (See Picture 11)

Data Transfer

1. Right click the file which you want to transfer
2. and select “Send to Bluetooth Device”. (See Picture 12) Select a receiving device, and support selecting multiple files simultaneously. Here we take “vivo X9s Plus” as as example, click “Next”. (See Picture 13)
3. Click “Accept” on your phone to start data transfer. (See Picture 14)
