APPLICATION

The V2880 Therafix Design thermostatic H-blocks have a high-class appearance to match design radiators.
The V2880 Therafix Design is used to connect design radiators with 50 mm connection distance to 2-pipe hydronic heating systems.
Together with a radiator thermostat they control the room temperature by regulating the flow of hot water into the radiator or heat exchanger.
The temperature of different rooms is controlled individually, and energy is saved.
V2880 Therafix DesignH-Blocks of this type are suitable for

  • Honeywell Home radiator thermostats with M30 x 1.5 connection and from an optical aspect especially the Thera-200 Design series

FUNCTION

The V2880 Therafix Design connects individual radiators to the heating loop. Together with a radiator thermostat, the V2880 Therafix Design controls the amount of heating water flowing through the radiator depending on the ambient room temperature.
When the temperature increases the sensor inside the thermostat expands and acts onto the valve spindle of the thermostatic insert. The flow through the radiator is throttled. When the room temperature decreases the sensor contracts and the spring-loaded thermostatic insert opens again – more heating water can flow through the radiator.
The H-block can be shut off by the protection cap on the supply side and by the lockshield insert on the return side to isolate and e,g, remove the radiator.

INSTALLATION GUIDELINES

Setup Requirements
  • To avoid stone deposit and corrosion the composition of the medium should conform with VDI-Guideline 2035
  • Additives have to be suitable for EPDM sealings
  • Ensure good access
  • System has to be flushed thoroughly before initial operation with all valves fully open
  • Any complaints or costs resulting from non-compliance with above rules will not be accepted by Resideo
  • Please contact us if you should have any special requirements or needs
