Purpose of the Product
This Magnetic Poster Hanger is an innovative frame meant to ease the process of framing posters, pictures, maps, prints, scrolls, thin and light tapestry or other types of artwork.
With this poster hanger, you no longer need to match the frame with both sides of the artwork.
Just measure the top/bottom of your print and choose the poster frame size of the same dimension.

The poster hanger comes with 2 pairs of magnetized wooden dowels: one pair for the top side of your art, the other pair for the bottom. You get 4 wooden bars in total with a string for hanging the top part.

[1] The Teak wood that we use offers
more weight than other types of wood or other products. The additional weight
enables Dacri Home poster hanger to flatten more easily the prints which used
to be rolled prior to having them displayed.
Notice: If the artwork has been rolled for a longtime and the poster
hanger can not straighten it immediately, you may consider keeping it under a
flat surface for a few days before hanging. Then, the poster hanger can do the
rest of the job.
[2] Equipped with very strong magnets, this poster hanger will securely hold
your piece of art, preventing it to slip out from the magnets and fall on the
floor.
[3] The poster hanger comes with a nice leather-like string suitable for the
smaller sizes.
For the sizes above 24 inches, our product comes with a more durable cord to
safely hold the additional weight of the wood and artwork specific to large
sizes.
- Installation Steps
Here are the 3 easy steps to hang your art:
1. Detach the top pair of wooden bars (the one with the string).
2. Place the top of your art on one of the 2 wooden bars and cover with the pair bar. The magnets embedded in the dowel pieces will clamp and your art will be safely sandwiched.
3. Repeat (1) and (2) for the bottom part and you’re ready to hang your art on the wall.
NOTICE: When you
detach each pair of magnetic bars, avoid mixing the wooden bars: try to keep
each rail with its own pair in order to ensure that the magnets will match.

CAUTION! Please be cautious when you sandwich your art between the 2 magnetic bars to avoid bruise of your fingers as a result of potential pinch due to the strong magnets. -
Troubleshooting
√ Magnets troubleshooting:
If you find that the magnets do not attach to each other or the hold is weak, swap the wooden pieces between them until you find the pair magnets that clamp properly one to each other.
This may happen when you’ve mixed the magnetized wooden bars and you try to attach the wooden bar from one pair with a wooden from another pair.
√ String troubleshooting:
Dacri Home poster hanger comes with 2 types of string:
• a sleek leather-like string for the small frames of sizes up to 24″
• a more durable, thicker string for the magnetic frames above 24″, to support the additional weight of large artworks together with the wooden rails
For the the leather-like type of string, if you think that your art is quite heavy and it may not hold it, you can untie the knot of the cord, pull it out and insert a string of your choice.
Just mind the thickness of the new cord to ensure that you can insert it.

Notice: If the art material is thicker than 1/8 inch, it will not be suitable for the magnetic poster frame. It works fine for thin canvas, cardboard or fabrics that do not have a lot of texture for allowing the magnets to clamp properly. -
Limitations
There are a few cases when a poster hanger is not suitable:
• If you have valuable or rare paintings which may need protection from dust, moisture, direct sunlight, then it’s surely better to use a picture frame with glass.
• Delicate fabrics such as thin silk may not be suitable for this type of frame because the weight of wood may affect the silk over time. -
Size Compatibility
Dacri Home Poster Hangers have accurate dimensions, as per the Product Description on Amazon.com.
The poster hanger frame is compatible with posters or pictures of any height. Only the length of the poster hanger needs to match the horizontal size of your poster. Measure the top or bottom of your artwork and get a magnetic frame of the dimension you measured.
