Set Up

Open shipping carton. Assembly > Unpacking.

Shipping Support. Assembly > Remove Shipping Support Hardware.

Connect the battery. Assembly > Connect the Battery. Push two halves of battery connector together tightly.

Add oil. Assembly > Add Engine Oil.
Recommended: 1 OW-30, up to 16.9 fl. oz. (500 ml) DO NOT overfill.

Move the generator outdoors. Move generator to an open, outdoor area. Point exhaust away. Never run generator in enclosed areas (e.g., not in house or garage)
Keep all objects at least 5 feet (1.5 m) from generator. Heat from the muffler and exhaust gas can ignite combustible materials.
Start Up
Add fuel. Assembly > Add Fuel: Gasoline
DO NOT use E15 or E85.
or
Connect propane cylinder. Assembly> Add Fuel: Propane (LPG)
DO NOT plug in any electrical devices.
WARNING: NEVER START OR STOP THE GENERATOR WITH ELECTRICAL DEVICES CONNECTED OR TURNED ON!
Electric Start : Gasoline
- Turn the EZ start dial to the full CHOKE position.
- Press and hold ignition switch on EZ start Dial.
- Turn the EZ Start Dial to the full “RUN” position.
Electric Start : Propane (LPG)
- Open the propane tank value.
- Turn the EZ start dial to the full CHOKE position.
- Press and hold ignition switch on EZ start Dial.
- Turn the EZ Start Dial to the full “RUN” position.
Manual Start : Gasoline
- Turn the EZ Start Dial to the full “CHOKE” position.
- Pull the recoil to start the engine.
- Turn the EZ Start Dial to the full “RUN” position.
Manual Start : Propane (LPG)
- Open the propane tank valve.
- Turn the EZ Start Dial to the full “CHOKE” position.
- Pull the recoil 3-5 times to prime the engine.
- Turn the EZ Start Dial to the full “RUN” position.
- Pull the recoil to start the engine.
Plug in. Operation > Connecting Electrical Loads.
