DEVICES USER MANUAL
INTRODUCTION
- This document explains how to start using the different devices of Upstreem’s Active Tool Suite
DEVICE INFORMATION

WHAT IS WHAT
- Upstream’s Active Tool Suite consists of :
• ActiveTrack: the electronic watch
• ActiveHome: the home unit
• A charging cradle
• USB cables and power plugs
• A removal tool to take the strap out of ActiveTrack
• Straps and consumable plastic parts

STARTING ACTIVEHOME

- To start ActiveHome, connect the USB cable to the micro USB interface at the backside of ActiveHome
- Then, connect the other side of the USB to a power outlet using the power plug
- ActiveHome will start automatically.
- After 1-2 minutes, it displays time and date: it is then ready for use
PREPARING ACTIVE TRACK

To start using ActiveTrack, cut the strap at the right length according to one of the pre-defined lines
• For an indication on lengths, refer to the Installation Manual -
Then, insert a plastic part at each end of the strap as shown here

After this, insert the other type of plastic part in the core of ActiveTrack

You can now insert one end of the strap in ActiveTrack as shown here

Put ActiveTrack on the offender’s wrist and insert the another end of the strap following the same principle

Finally, you can power on ActiveTrack by connecting it to the charging cradle and connecting the charging cradle to a power source

ActiveTrack starts and it displays time and date. It is then ready for use.
USING ACTIVE TRACK – MAIN SCREEN

By default, ActiveTrack displays the main screen. The main screen indicates :
• Date and time
• Battery status
• Current curfew
• In the example here, it is currently 6.58 PM and you must be home between 6.00 PM and 12.00 AM

The meaning of the different pictograms is
: Free time
: Must be out of home
: Must be home
: Appointment -
When a text message is received by ActiveTrack or when there is a notification, ActiveTrack vibrates and displays the message or notification.

You need to acknowledge it by doing a long push on one of the buttons.

When the message or notification is successfully acknowledged, the icon appears on the screen.

ActiveTrack goes then automatically back to the main screen

If you are in violation, ActiveTrack vibrates and displays an icon indicating the violation type. The meaning of the icons is as follows :
: you must go home
: you must leave home
: zone alert. You are not authorized to be here.
: you must charge the battery -
ActiveTrack keeps reminding the violation on a regular base as long as it is not solved
DEINSTALLING ACTIVETRACK

To deinstall ActiveTrack, start by cutting the strap

Then, remove the plastic parts. They are consumables and can thus be broken.

Finally, remove the strap by placing the removal tool on the core of ActiveTrack, pressing firmly and then taking each strap end out of the core

Any changes or modifications not expressly approved by the party responsible
for compliance could void the authority to operate equipment.
This device and its antenna must not be co-located or operating in conjunction
with any other antenna or transmitter.
Mobile Device
This equipment complies with FCC radiation exposure limits set forth for an
uncontrolled environment. This equipment should be installed and operated with
minimum distance 20cm between the radiator & your body.
