CLEANING

  • Completely clean/disinfect the product between different patients with a clean, soft cloth and an approved institutional surface disinfectant. Do not use abrasive cleanser or materials that will scratch the finish off the chair.
  • Wipe the stainless steel frame at least once a week. For a more efficient disinfection, remove the seat, cushions and plastic footrest. Completely clean the both sides of the plastic seat, the pail support and clips; the cushions can be removed and wiped clean. Armrests and casters should also be frequently disinfected.
  • To disinfect and clean, particularly when multipatient use is planned, use an antibacterial surface disinfectant that is non-corrosive. Please take caution to read all instructions before using your desired disinfectant as individual directions may vary.

MAINTENANCE

  • Verify screw tightness regularly.

  • Caster maintenance and testing of the locking mechanism should
be performed regularly. The caster locks require occasional lubrication to maintain the locking mechanism. Before using the
commode, verify that the casters have been properly re-assembled.

  • Replace casters if they become damaged or severely worn.

  • To maximize the commode’s durability, wipe it dry after it has been exposed to moisture.
