Safety Notes
- Do not use the product in the immediate vicinity of heaters or other heat sources or in direct sunlight.
- Children are not permitted to play with the device. Children may not clean the product or perform user maintenance without supervision.
- Do not operate the product outside the power limits given in the specifications.
- The product may only be operated with the type of power supply network described on the nameplate.
- Lay all cables so that they do not pose a tripping hazard.
- Do not drop the product and do not expose it to any major shocks.
- This product is intended for private, non-commercial use only.
- Use the product for its intended purpose only.
- Keep this product, like all electrical products, out of the reach of children!
- Do not use the product in areas where the use of electronic devices is not permitted.

- In the event of a thunderstorm, disconnect the garden socket from the mains immediately.
Risk of electric shock
- Do not open the device or continue to operate it if it becomes damaged.
- Do not use the product if the AC adapter, adapter cable, or power cable is damaged.
- Do not attempt to service or repair the product yourself.Leave any and all service work to qualified experts.
- Do not use the product near water. Doing so presents a lethal hazard due to potential short circuits!
Warning –Batteries
- When inserting batteries, note the correct polarity (+ and markings) and insert the batteries accordingly.Failuretodoso could result in the batteries leaking or exploding.
- Only use batteries (or rechargeable batteries) that match the specified type.
- Before you insert the batteries, clean the battery contacts and the polar contacts.
- Do not allow children to change batteries without supervision.
- Do not mix old and new batteries or batteries of different types or make.
- Remove the batteries from products that are not being used for an extended period (unless these are being kept ready for an emergency).
- Do not short-circuit batteries.
- Do not charge batteries.
- Do not throw batteries in a fire.
- Keep batteries out of the reach of children.
- Never open, damage, or swallow batteries or allow them to enter the environment. They can contain toxic, environmentally harmful heavy metals.
- Immediately remove and dispose of dead batteries from the product.
- Avoid storing, charging, or using the device in extreme temperatures and extremely low atmospheric pressure(for example, at high altitudes).
Warning
- Never connect multiple units of this product in series.
- Never connect the garden socket to an extension cable or adapter. It must be plugged directly into a mains socket, otherwise, it may overheat.
- Do not use this product with any devices that generate heat. Risk of fire and injury.
- Do not use this product with any devices that are motorized or any devices that have rotating components or workpieces.

Note –splash proof
This product is protected against moisture and splash water in accordance with
IP44.
Setup and operation
Warning
- Only connect the product to a socket that has been approved for the device. The socket must be installed close to the product and must be easily accessible.
- Disconnect the product from the network using the power button –if this is not available, unplug the power cord from the socket.
- When using a multi-socket power strip, make sure that the sum power draw of all the connected devices does not exceed its maximum throughput rating.
- If you will not be using the product for a long period of time, disconnect it from mains power.
4.1 Remote control
Carefully slide down the battery compartment cover on the rear of the remote
control. Remove the contact breaker. Close the battery
compartment again.
4.2 Setup

First, remove the protective cap from the ground spike.

Screw the garden socket onto the ground spike.
• Insert the ground spike vertically into firm ground. Make sure that the ground spike is securely in the ground and cannot fall
over. -
Connect the power cable to a properly installed socket.

Then connect your device –which must be switched off –to the socket.

Now switch on the connected device.
Note –Pulling out the garden socket
- Disconnect the garden socket from the mains.
- Disconnect the power plug of the connected device.
- Pull the garden socket out of the ground using the handle.
4.3 Programming/synchronizing the remote control
The remote control needs to be synchronized with the garden socket before use.
- Press and hold the On/Off button (5) for approx. 7seconds until the blue LED (5) flashes.
- Point the remote control at the garden socket and press and hold the ON button on the remote control until the green LED (7) flashes quickly.
- When successfully synchronized, the blue LED on the garden power outlet goes out.
Note
If the synchronization process fails, the garden socket automatically exits
synchronization mode after 15 seconds. If this occurs, repeat the process.
4.4 Operation
- Press the ON button on the remote control to switch on the connected consumer.
- To switch off the connected consumer, press the OFF button on the remote control.
Note
If two consumers are connected, these will both be switched on or off at the
same time.
Note: Transmission range
Please note that the maximum transmission range can only be achieved in
optimal conditions. Walls or other wireless signals
(mobile phone, WiFi), for example, may reduce the range.
Changing the batteries in the remote control
Carefully slide down the battery compartment cover on the rear of the remote control. Dispose of the used battery properly and insert a new A23 battery. Make sure the polarity is correct. Close the battery compartment again.
Care and Maintenance
Note
Disconnect the device from the power supply before cleaning or if it will not
be used for a long period of time.
- Only clean this product with a slightly damp, lint-free cloth and do not use aggressive cleaning agents.
- Make sure that water does not get into the product.
