Physio logic Fever Scan Stick-On Fever Indicators User Guide
Using FeverScan™
Step 1: Fast, Safe and Gentle Application
Simply peel FeverScan™ off the backing and apply directly to the skin. For
optimal accuracy place on the forehead. It can also be placed under the
armpit, on the chest, or between the shoulder blades.
Step 2: Visible Readings in Seconds
Within seconds FeverScan™ light up indicating 36°, 37°, 38°, 39°, or 40° (and
over). The temperature reading corresponds to the highest figure that appears
green. If green does not appear, the temperature will be mid-way between that
indicated by the tan and the blue spots. Normal axillary temperature range is
36.1 ° C to 37.2°C. FeverScan™ will adhere for up to 48 hours, depending on
skin type, placement or activity. Removing and repositioning reduces adhesion.
Step 3: Easy, Painless Removal
When continuous monitoring is no longer necessary, simply remove FeverScan™
and discard. DO NOT REUSE.
WARNING! Choking hazard. Store out of reach of small children. Recommended for adults of all ages. FeverScan™ is a fever indicator. Always use a thermometer to confirm temperature reading. Use of the fever indicators is not intended as a substitute for a consultation with your healthcare professional.
