Important Safeguards

When using electrical appliances, to reduce the risk of fire, electric shock, and/or injury to persons, basic safety precautions should always be followed, including the following:

WARNING: The blades of the knife are extremely sharp. Handle them with caution.

  1. Read all instructions carefully.

  2. To protect against electric shock, do not immerse the cord, plug, or appliance in water or other liquid.

  3. Close supervision is necessary when any appliance is used by or near children.

  4. This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory, or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge unless instructions concerning the use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety.

  5. Unplug from outlet when not in use and before cleaning.

  6. Do not operate any appliance with a damaged cord or plug, in case of appliance malfunctions
    or if the appliance has been damaged in any manner.

  7. The use of accessory attachments not recommended by the manufacturer may cause malfunctions.

  8. Do not use outdoors.

  9. Do not let the cord hang over the edge of the table or counter or touch hot surfaces.

  10. Do not place the appliance on or near a hot gas or electric burner, or in a heated oven.

  11. This product has been designed for domestic use only. Any commercial use, inappropriate use, or failure to comply with the instructions, the manufacturer accepts no responsibility and guarantee is no longer valid.

  12. Do not use your food processor if any part is broken.

  13. Make sure that the cover is securely locked in place before operating the appliance.

  14. The blades are sharp, handle carefully.

  18. This appliance is designed to process small quantities. Do not exceed the quantities indicated in these instructions for use.

Using Your Appliance

Before first use, clean the various parts of the appliance.
Note: The start button allows you to use 2 speeds. For liquids, never exceed 1.2 L.

  • Speed 1 (min): low speed
  • Speed 2 (max): high speed

Mincing and Blending

  1. Put the blade onto the fixed shaft in the bowl (Fig.1).
  2. Pour in the ingredients and lock the lid (Fig.2).
  3. Place the motor unit onto the assembly by turning it slightly.
  4. Plugin the appliance and press the start button, at the same time holding the appliance by the motor unit.
  5. At the end of preparation, release the button, unplug the appliance, and wait until the blades come to a complete stop.
  6. Remove the motor unit, the lid, and the blades to pour out the blended foods.

CAUTION:
Maximum time of processing should not exceed 10 seconds of continuous use. In order to achieve the below processing times, use the appliance with pulses and intermediate 10 seconds pauses.

Quantity for optimal results

Note: below list is a suggestion for optimal results, you can increase or decrease the weight if needed.

CAUTION: DO NOT OPERATE THE UNIT WHEN EMPTY.
CAUTION: DO NOT PUT HOT INGREDIENTS INTO THE BOWL. BEFORE FOOD PREPARATION, ALLOW FOOD TO COOL DOWN FOR A FEW MINUTES.

Useful tips

  • Cheese: Run the appliance with pulses.
  • Baby food: chop the food into small pieces, add some broth (meat or vegetables) and mix the ingredients with pulses. To blend the mixed food, press the start button continuously until you reach the desired result.
  • Tomato, nuts, onions, etc.: For fine chopping run the appliance with pulses.
    CAUTION: Before you eat or serve blended food, please always check for ingredients that might have not been blended adequately.

Cleaning & Maintenance

  • Always unplug the appliance before storing or cleaning.
  • Only use a damp sponge to clean the motor unit. Never place it in water, or under running water.
  • The bowl, the blades, and the lid can all be cleaned in the dishwasher (upper basket).

Warranty

Champion Nordic guarantees that this product is free from manufacturing defects in terms of materials and workmanship during a period of 2 years in Sweden, Norway,
Denmark and Finland. This warranty period begins on the day the product is purchased or delivered. Champion Nordic has no obligation to repair or replace products that are not accompanied by valid proof of purchase. This warranty applies only to pro- ducts purchased and used for home use and do not cover damage resulting from abuse, failure to comply with the instructions from Champion Nordic, cases in which the product has been modified or subjected to unauthorized repair, improper packaging on the part of the owner, normal wear and tear, or improper handling on the part of a transport company.
