Can these connecto to a pc at call center? to be used with voip?
It will work, but probably not well. They have a problem that keeps them from working reliably on Zoom, Teams, or other video conferencing software when connected to Windows PCs or Macs. There is supposed to be a firmware update to fix this, but the first one that came out (1.4) caused worse problems, so they recalled it, and they have only promised a new version (1.5) but I haven’t been able to actually find it anywhere as of Sept 13, 2020. Bose support is worse than useless. I’m giving up and returning them.
Is it as easy to switch between devices as the QC 35?
You do not need to switch.
Which specific features will be unavailable if I choose not to create a Bose Account?
Without creating a Bose Music account you won’t be able to set any other Noise Cancelling levels other than the preset 0,5 and 10. You also won’t be able to configure a Voice Assistant as well as be able to use the Bose AR feature.
Do they fold?
They do not fold-up like the QC35-IIs do no.
Does wind cause noise in this headphone?
The Noise Cancelling Headphones 700 feature an unrivaled four-microphone system that picks up and isolates your voice while canceling the noise around you. You’ll hear and be heard like never before — even in noisy environments.
Are they optimized for MS Teams?
It works with MS team just like any other headset.
Will these headphones block out really loud snoring?
Try Bose’s Sleep buds product for masking snoring
Is there any way to use this without the built in Spyware? Has anyone had any luck avoiding the cancerous app and account creation problems?
Yes, you can pair to any Bluetooth device with out the app at all. The app is mainly for the advanced features, setting your own default preferences and updating the firmware. You will want the firmware updates they have fixed a number of connection issues I have had. With each update something has gotten a fraction better. After you have it setup the way you want and are happy with the way it works you never need to use the app again unless there is an annoyance that is fixed in a firmware update that you want to update to. You could in-fact delete the app once setup if desired or even not use the app at all but you would be stuck with the factory settings. While the factory settings are not bad, customizing the advanced settings is a nice to have feature. Updating the firmware is a must have feature, at least until they are a bit more stable.
