Safety Notes
- The product is intended for private, noncommercial use only.
- Protect the product from dirt, moisture and overheating, and only use it in a dry environment.
- Keep this product, as all electrical products, out of the reach of children!
- Do not drop the product and do not expose it to any major shocks.
- Do not open the device or continue to operate it if it becomes damaged.
- Dispose of packaging material immediately according to locally applicable regulations.
- Do not modify the product in any way. Doing so voids the warranty.
Warning – Batteries
- Always choose the battery size and grade that best suits the intended purpose. Keep these operating instructions in a safe place for future reference, as they provide information about choosing the right battery.
- Replace all the batteries in a set at the same time.
- Ensure that the batteries are inserted the right way around and that polarity (+ and -markings) is observed.
- Do not short-circuit batteries.
- Do not charge batteries.
- Do not throw batteries in a fire.
- Keep batteries out of the reach of children.
- Do not allow children to change batteries without supervision.
- Remove the batteries from products that are not being used for an extended period (unless these are being kept ready for an emergency).
- Immediately remove and dispose of dead batteries from the product.
Getting Started and Operation
Inserting/changing batteries
- Make sure that the product is switched off (on/off switch to OFF)
- Open the battery compartment on the bottom of the candle.
- Insert 3 AAA batteries in the correct direction.
- Close the battery compartment. The battery compartment cover must audibly click into place.
Switching on and timer
Note – Location
Do not place near heat sources (e.g. ovens, heaters, stoves, open fireplaces,
heat-emitting light sources, direct sunlight, etc.).
- Set the on/off switch on the bottom of the candle to 4H or 8H. This will light the candle for either 4 or8hours. The candle shuts off automatically after the selected duration and switches on again the next day (Example: switching on 4H at 18:00 – candle lights up after switching on every day from 18:00 for 4 hours).
- Place the candle on an even and non-slip surface.
- The LED flickering is not a defect; it imitates the brightness fluctuations of natural candle light.
- To switch off, set the on/off switch to the centre position OFF.
Care and Maintenance
Only clean this product with a slightly damp, lint-free cloth and do not use aggressive cleaning agents.
