Getting started and operation
Warning
- Only operate the product from a socket that has been approved for the device. The socket must be installed close to the product and must be easily accessible.
- Disconnect the product from the power supply using the On/Off switch –ifthis is not available, unplug the power cord from the socket.
- If using a multi-socket power strip, make sure that the total power consumption of all connected devices does not exceed the power strip’s maximum throughput rating.
- If you will not be using the product for a prolonged period, disconnect it from mains power.
It’s so simple:
- Download the Hama Smart Solution app from the Apple App StoreoronGoogle Play.
- Start the Hama Smart Solution app
- If you’re using it for the first time, you’ll have to register and create a new account. If you already have an account, log in using your login details
- Connect the WiFi camera to the included power supply unit, and connect the power supply unit to a properly installed and easily accessible mains socket.
- Wait a moment until the camera emits a signal tone and the LED begins to flash red.
- Click +inthe upper-right corner in the app, and in the list select ‘Cameras’ followed by 176576/77.
- Confirm that the cameras flashing.
- Now follow the remaining instructions on your smartphone screen and scan the QR code displayed on your smartphone with the WiFi camera. When you hear an acoustic signal, confirm this.
- Now enter the name of your WiFi network and the password, and confirm.
- The camera will now be connected. Once the connection has been established, the LED stops flashing and emits a constant blue light.
- Now you can set up, control, and configure your WiFi camera using the app.
Note: Pairing restart
First, remove the rubber protection on one side of the camera. Now press the Reset button with pain (or similar thin object) until you hear an acoustic signal. As soon as the LED begins to flash red, you can make another pairing attempt.
Care and Maintenance
Note
Disconnect the product from the mains before cleaning it or if it is not going
to be used for a long period of time.
- Only clean this product with a slightly damp, lint-free cloth and do not use aggressive cleaning agents.
- Make sure that water does not get into the product.
