FUNCTION

  • Highlight for Bleach Wipes Lid (“Lid”) is a reusable product that dispenses disinfectant wipes colorized blue by Highlight for Bleach Wipes Cartridge (“Cartridge”) to improve visibility of surface coverage. The colour fades to colorless over time.
  • Highlight for Bleach Wipes Adapters (“Adapters”) enable Lids to be used with 9-inch bucket sized bleach wipes or with 4-inch canister sized bleach wipes.

HOW TO USE

  • Attach Lid directly to a wipe canister or Adapter.
    How to Use 01

    • There are two Adapter sizes: the 9-in for bucket sizes and the 4-in for small canisters.
    • 9-in Adapter instructions: remove the top from the bleach wipes bucket. Attach the Adapter to the bleach wipes bucket. Place the Lid on top of the Adapter.
    • 4-in Adapter instructions: remove the top from the bleach wipes canister. Attach the Adapter to the bleach wipes canister. Place the Lid on top of the adapter.
      How to Use 02
  • Insert a Cartridge into the Lid.
    How to Use 03

    • Each Cartridge is single use and is adequate for one bucket or two canisters of bleach disinfectant wipes.
  • Thread the first wipe though the Lid by opening the Lid using the two side latch buttons and ensure that the wipe is laying horizontally across the center of the rollers. Take care not to pinch the wipe when closing the Lid.
    How to Use 04

  • Press the Lid’s “Dispense Wipe” button to dispense colorized wipes. Wipes will advance as long as the button is pressed. To dispense a wipe, hold the button until you see a wipe perforation.
    How to Use 05

    • When using a new Cartridge, the first wipes may appear white until the Cartridge begins to colorize wipes. Once colour is visible, open the Lid, place wipes back into container.
  • Immediately apply the wipe to the surface to be disinfected. Apply friction and adequately cover the entire surface with the blue colour.

    • Use only on hard, non-porous surfaces such as laminates, stainless steel, hard plastics, vinyl, and glass. Avoid contact with fabrics, untreated wood, paper products, or other soft, porous surfaces.
      How to Use 06
  • Highlight will fade from blue to clear within several minutes.

    • If any residual colour is left, the colour can be removed by a wet paper towel or bleach wipe.
  • When one bucket of bleach wipes or two canisters of bleach disinfectant wipes have been used to completion, remove the Cartidge from the Lid.
    How to Use 07

  • Detach the Lid or Adapter from the empty container of bleach disinfectant wipes. Repeat 3.1 through 3.8.

  • After 5 minutes of inactivity, bleach wipes will retract to prevent drying out of the wipes.

  • Highlight for Bleach Wipes is compatible with almost all sizes of healthcare and professional-grade bleach wipes. This chart provides common examples but is not a complete list.
