907X OPTICAL VIEWFINDER

The optical viewfinder (OVF) for the 907X camera, is available as an optional accessory. It provides eye-level shooting and has markings for the XCD 21, XCD 30 and XCD 45/XCD 45P lenses.

ATTACHING TO THE CAMERA

  • Before first use you must mount the OVF to the bracket as shown below (A). Push the OVF in until it locks. To remove, press the buttons (1) and (2) and slide off the OVF.
  • Remove the top plate (3) by sliding it backwards.
  • Insert the OVF bracket (4) and make sure it is fully inserted.
  • Attach the CFV to secure the OVF.

OVF MARKINGS

When looking through the OVF, you can see three frames indicating the coverage for the following lenses:

  • XCD 21 (1)
  • XCD 30 (2)
  • XCD 45 and XCD 45P (3)

There is also a plus marking (4) to indicate the image center.
Note!
The markings indicate coverage at infinite or long distances. For close-up and precise work, you should always use live view on the display.
Note!
Avoid attaching a flash unit with electrical contacts to the OVF bracket as there is a risk of short circuit that can damage the flash.
