Introduction
Thank you for choosing WEme USB2.0 RJ45 Ethernet extender. Our extension cable uses a high-performance signal booster chipset and high-quality USB cable. It’s a convenient and easy way to extend most USB devices to your computer, compatible with a variety of USB devices, such as KVM switches, webcam, keyboard, mouse, scanner, printer, USB flash disk, etc. By using Cat5e, Cat6, or Cat7 RJ45 LAN cable, it supports extension up to 100 meters/328 Feet. With DC 5V/2A power adapter.
Installation
- Connect both RJ45 ports (Transmitter and Receiver) by Cat5e, Cat6, or higher version RJ45 LAN cable.
- Connect the USB Type-A Male (transmitter) to the computer.
- Connect your USB devices to USB Type-A Female (Receiver). Reminder: LED light indicates different working status.
a. White light turns on when power is connected.
b. Green light turns on when both the Transmitter and Receiver are connected.
c. Yellow light is flashing when transferring data.

Tips

This extender is only used to extend USB devices, not for connecting to network switches.

It only supports connecting 720p webcam, Can’t connect 1080P webcam. Please confirm if you need to install the driver when connecting to the webcam.

Supports video and audio transmissions such as microphones and speakers.

Please plug in the external power adapter when connecting high-power USB devices or reaching long-distance devices.

We suggest using Cat5e/Cat6/Cat6e or a higher version
Ethernet cables and please make sure the line sequence is 568B standard. -
The maximum transmission speed 480Mbps doesn’t support
VR equipment and other devices that need a USB 3.0 transmission rate. -
Please kindly note: this product can NOT be used to charge a Mobile phones or iPad.

The recommended length is 60M-100M to enjoy the best performance.
FAQ
Q: PC prompts that the USB Device is Not Recognized?
A: It is recommended to connect a USB port with sufficient power, such as the
USB port on the computer motherboard. Or please try with another computer or
USB device. Unplug & plug the
USB cable or restart the PC.
Q: Why USB devices can’t use?
A: Please confirm whether the devices you are connecting need to install the
driver and support the operating system you are using. Otherwise, it may not
work properly.
Q: Does this USB extension cable require drivers?
A: No, It’s Plug & Play, no driver installation required.
