Q: CA20 is not in the Device Manager
A:
- Please turn on the privacy switch (on the top of the CA20 webcam).
- Please move to other USB port, better to plug to the PC’s motherboard USB 3.0 port .
- If you are using any anti virus then must disable cam protection protocol of the antivirus otherwise window won’t detect the camera.
Q: Windows Hello isn’t available on this device or We couldn’t find a
camera compatible with Windows Hello Face

Please disable the build in IR camera if you have.

Check whether “Integrated IR Camera” is under Device Manager–Cameras or Imaging Devices. Whether “Windows Hello Face Software Device” under Device Manager–Biometric devices.

Open File Explorer, navigate to C:\Windows\System32\WinBioPlugIns\FaceDriver
b) Right-click on HelloFace.inf and click “Install”
c) If the file exists do the same thing for HelloFaceMigration.inf in the same directory -
Restart windows biometric service

Run this command through CMD (In administrator mode):
DISM.exe /Online /Cleanup-image /Restorehealth -
If joined the machine to a work/school account that applied policy requiring a pin BEFORE set up the camera for the on prem domain account with pin and camera. To test, please wipe and reload windows again, set up the pin and face with the domain account, and then lastly connected to the work/school account, which will work fine. Delete your school account under settings – account – access work or school. thereafter you can set windows hello up. And then put the school account back in.

Modify Group Policy Settings
a: Press Windows Key, Type Gpedit, and Press Enter.
b: Click on Computer Configuration and Open Administrative Templates.
c: Select Windows Components and Open Biometrics.
d: Click on Facial Features and Right-Click on Configure Enhanced Anti- spoofing Option
e: Select Edit and Disable the Configure Enhanced Anti-Spoofing Feature.
f: Reboot Your PC -
Running an in-place upgrade of Windows 10.
Q: “Sorry, something went wrong” “Couldn’t turn on the camera. Make sure
it’s working properly”
A: Plug to PC’s motherboard USB 3.0 port.
Q: Microphone isn’t working
A: Select “Microphone(Realtek USB2.0 Audio)” as the default audio input
device in the preference and in MS
Q: Could not log in the PC when reboot.
A: Please change the power plan to “High performance”, follow Control
Panel> Hardware and Sound>Power Options
Q: Make sure your face is centered in the frame.
A: Had to disconnect the Kaysuda camera, re-run Facial Recognition
process for Windows Hello, then disable the Microsoft IR Front Camera service
to get it to work again.
