 Product Overview

This No Contact Infrared Thermometer measure temperature directly from the forehead without contact which can obtain more quick and accurate human body temperature.

This product has the following advantages:

  1. Clean Probe easily.
  2. Obtain the measuring readings quickly and accurately in only one second.
  3. Conveniently one key touch operation.
  4. 12 memories recall.
  5. Automaticly display last reading when you turn on the power.
  6. Option for Voice function:
    • When the REIZEN thermometer is ready to take temperature, you can hear “Please measure” by voice announcement
    • When the measurement is finished, the reading can be announced in additional to display on the thermometer screen.

Measuring

  1. No Contact Type Forehead Measuring mode

    • Turn on the “power” button key of the REIZEN Thermometer and then all displayed segments appear briefly as shown on (Figure 5.2B); •When figure 5.3B displays on the screen, it is available to obtain the last time reading.
    • When Forehead symbol ”  “displays on the screen like Figures 5.4B; at the same time, “C” or “F” blinks, it means that human body temperature can be measured
    • Access forehead scanning without touch skin by approx. 50 to 100 MM distance from the center of Forehead and press the “SCAN” button, the measurement will be finished in a second by hearing long “BEEP” sound. In the meanwhile, the reading will display as shown on Figure 5.5B
    • Before your measuring, please keep your forehead dry and clean.
    • When unit again prompts to t” or “°F” either one blinks, you can access the next measurement.
    • If you don’t use again, the power will automatically switch off within 60 seconds.
  2. Ambient ‘  ‘ Temperature Measuring mode:

    • Press the “power” button to turn on the REIZEN Thermometer and then all display segments appear briefly as shown on (Figure 5.2C);
    • When displays on the screen, it is available to obtain the last time reading.
    • When house symbol ”  ” displays on the screen like Figures 5.4C, at the same time, ”  ” or “F” blinks, it means that ambient h ” temperature can be measured.
    • Access ambient”   ” temperature scanning by approx. 50 to 100 mm distance from the target and press the “SCAN” button, the measurement will be finished in one second by hearing long “BEEP” sound. In the meanwhile, the reading will display as shown on Figure 5.5C.
    • When the temperature unit “°C” or “°F” blink on the displayed screen again then you can access the next measurement.
    • If you don’t use again, the power will automatically switch off within 60 seconds.

  3. How to switch voice processor announcement from”ON” or “OFF” mode ? During POWER OFF mode, press “SCAN” button for about 5 seconds till signal “ON” flashes or “OFF” flashes on the display screen and release the “SCAN” button. Continually press “SCAN” button can allow you to prompt to voice processor announcement either “ON” or “OFF” mode.

  4. How to switch voice processor announcement from “English” to “Spanish” feature? During POWER OFF mode , press “SCAN” button for about 10 seconds till 01 (English) or 02 (Spanish) symbol blinks on LCD display and release the “SCAN” button. Continually press “SCAN” button to allow you to prompt to switch the voice announcement either in English or Spanish.

  5. How to switch Celsius and Fahrenheit degrees on display screen? During POWER OFF mode , press “SCAN” button for about 15 second till ° C or ° F symbol blinks on LCD display and release the “SCAN” button. Continually press “SCAN” button to allow you to prompt to switch degree’ s display either Fahrenheit or Celsius.

  6. How to change “Human Body” to “Ambient”  ” measurement feature? During POWER OFF mode , please switch the ” ” symbol on the side of the unit to ” ” symbol as per your preferable and then the measurement can access.

  7. How to access 12 memories recall? During POWER OFF mode, please press “SCAN” button and then you will see the memory recall when “M” display on the screen. If you continually press “SCAN” button again, the older previous memory will show up on the screen. If you would like to be out of the memory recall function, please press “POWER” button directly and you can access the next measurement.

  8. How to delete all memories? During POWER OFF mode, press “SCAN” button and release immediately. Press the “SCAN” button again to display the latest reading entered into the memory bank. Press the “POWER” button for 3 seconds until the LCD display “—” and release the button, then all 12 memory entries are deleted completely.

Battery Voltage Display & Replacement

Low battery: When the LCD display shows “Low” signals , the batteries must be replaced for accurate readings.
Replace 2 AAA batteries by following steps:

  • Remove the battery compartment cover by gently pushing down on arrow and sliding cover forward.
  • Place batteries with positive “+” and negative “- “ terminals into compartment and make sure they matched the indicated terminals in the compartment.
  • Close the battery cover by gently sliding it into the compartment and pressing it into place.

Display & Replacement

Operation Precautions

  • Always keep the probe portion clean after being used.
  • Keep the thermometer unit dry and away from water or liquid.
  • Don ‘ t expose the thermometer unit with sunlight directly. Keep it away from dust, dirt and knee-edged article
  • Don’t expose the REIZEN Thermometer
  • Please take your temperature when you relax and never take your temperature after exercise or a bath.Rest at least 30 minutes after walk.
  • Please keep your mobile phone away from the REIZEN Thermometer to prevent malfunction.
  • if the following condiction occurs, we recommend to take your temperature at least three times and use the highest reading.
  • Please use clean cloth with alcohol to clean up before or after use; Avoid multiple using by different peoples for cross infection.
