MAXHUB UC P10 HD 1080p USB PTZ Camera User Guide
Introduction
The UC P10 is a professional 1080p PTZ Camera with a USB 3.0 and RS232 connectivity for a variety of applications. The Audio Line Input is very useful to get lip-synced Audio with your recorded or streamed Videos. The RS 232 In/Out connectors allow for cascading multiple Cameras using 3rd party control (VISCA protocol). The Resolution of the Camera is HD 1080p, with a 72,5° HFoV, using a PANASONIC 1 / 2.7-inch CMOS image sensor. The 12x optical Zoom, and an additional 16x digital Zoom plus very silent PTZ motors will make the UC P10 your best choice for every pro-grade Conference Room or Recording / Streaming application. Other high-quality specs are the 2D and 3D DNR and the unique Low-Lux technologies. Even in very low-light conditions, the picture will stay crisp and clear. Pan +/- 170°, Tilt +/- 30°. 255 Presents can be programmed and instantly recalled via the IR Remote Control, which comes with the unit. The mounting bracket and a USB 3.0 Cable are also included in the box. Due to all these pro class features, the UC P10 is very easy to setup and will be installed in minutes only.
SETUP
Real Plug and Play! Simply connect the UC P10 to the included PSU and turn the unit on. After it has initialized, it is ready to use. Connect the UC P10 to any PC/Laptop of your choice or to the existing HUB/NUC in your Conference Room using the USB 3.0 cable. With the enclosed IR Remote Control you can change or set all available parameters of the Picture and Video format via OSD. Preset programming is simple and easy, just set the Camera to the right position, Zoom in or out, push the PRESET button and any number on the IR Remote Control. Please make sure you purchase a pair of AAA batteries, so you can insert them into the IR Remote Control of the UC P10.
Due to the viewing angle of 72,5° and the extreme Pan and Tilt capabilities, the UC P10 is the ideal Camera if you look for quality and good price. You can install it with the mounting bracket on top of your Display, or simply put it on a board underneath it. Plug it in and go for your Conference.
If you want to use a 3rd Party control unit via RS232, please make sure to use the VISCA protocol and a cable which fits to the appropriate connectors on the UC P10. You can purchase it optionally at your local MAXHUB Dealer. Due to RS 232 In/Out connectors, you can easily cascade multiple UC P10 Cameras.
APPLICATIONS
Meeting Room
You can easily use the UC P10 for every Meeting Room application you can imagine. Even larger Rooms are no issue, due to the presents you can save. Just mount the Camera on top of your Display using the included mounting bracket, or simply place it on a side-board underneath it. Use the IR Remote Control to focus on the space or the people you want to see and save the Preset by pushing the Preset button, followed by any number on the IR Remote. To recall a Preset, just push the number button once. Meetings have never been easier to setup and start.
Sometimes you might also need to record a meeting, where you need a PTZ Camera to be placed at the rear side of the room, no problem with the UC P10. Just set the Zoom and Focus to the perfect field of view and “off you go” with your Meeting recording. Please keep in mind, that the Audio Input of the UC P10 will help you to get a lip-synced Audio signal with your Video, wither you Record or Stream your meeting, it will be always perfect in sync and no more editing or “delaying” is needed afterwards.
Class Room, Lecture Hall
Another perfect application to use the UC P10 is a Lecture Hall, where you want to record the learning session with Teacher and Students. Due to the professional Sensor implemented, you will be able to cover very long distances. Plus, you can easily create Presents, if you want to Zoom in onto the Whiteboard. Again, Streaming is another case used very often in this application and the UC P10 will be a very powerful and reliable Camera to fulfil all your needs. Don`t forget the Low-Lux Technology, 2D & 3D Denoising and WDR capabilities, which will always provide a clear and crisp picture, even in very low light conditions. Due to the fact that the UC P10 has RS232 In and Out connections, it is very easy to cascade multiple Cameras and control them via 3rd party. This application will need a PC/Laptop or a HUB/NUC installed in the room.
Church, House of Worship
Here you go with an easy setup and a true ,,budget saver” for these applications. In most cases you might need to install two or more PTZ Cameras, to be able to get a full picture of the whole service in Church or House of Worship. Zoom in to the Pastor or Preacher, show the Musicians on stage, or simply Stream the whole service, including a scene from the audience. Everything is ,,plug & play” and you get great looking Videos with the MAXHUB UC P10. This application will need a PC/Laptop or a HUB/NUC installed in the room.
