  • The remote control will work from a maximum distance of 5 meters.
  • It may not work if the distance between the remote and the receiver is obstructed.

Installation

HYGEA PRO PLACEMENT

To optimize the performance of your HYGEA PRO, the air inlet of the air purifier should be kept at a minimum distance of 8.5 cm from the wall.

HOW TO CHOOSE THE PLACEMENT:

  • Use the circular base if the HYGEA PRO is floor mounted.
  • You can choose to use the smaller rectangular base if the HYGEA PRO is secured to a wall.
  • Use the wall mounting option to optimize space.

NOTES

  • Before choosing the placement of the HYGEA PRO , ensure to keep in mind the proximity of a power outlet & the power cord length.
  • Ensure to use the hidden side handles when moving the unit.

BASE INSTALLATION 1

  1. Choose your base (circular or rectangular)
  2. Lean the HYGEA PRO on the floor to have access to the bottom of the unit, align the power cable with the larger hole & pass the power cord through it.
  3. Take your base screws & align the screw holes in position & affix the base.

NOTES

  • Base sizes will vary depending on the HYGEA PRO model you purchased.
  • If you are using the rectangular base the air purifier must be secured to a wall. Once the base has been installed, please ensure to follow the wall mounting instructions on the following pages to finalize your installation.
WALL MOUNTING INSTRUCTIONS

GETTING READY
Ensure to remove the filter cartridge packaging before mounting the HYGEA PRO on the wall. Once the packaging has been removed, re-insert the filter cartridge (white/blue part facing you).

STEP 1: Using the back cover, mark the 4 locations of the wall base plates.
Notes: Ensure purifier placement is within power cord distance from the nearest outlet.

  • Align the center of the base plate over the mark from the back cover (step 1).
  • Mark the position of the 4 wall screws to affix each wall base plate to the wall.

Notes: If wall studs are available, screw directly into the studs. If wall studs are not available ensure to use anchors to secure the unit to the wall.

WARNING: Incorrect wall mounting can result in personal injury, damage to property & purifier.

  • There are 2 stud lengths available to mount the purifier at a different distance from the wall (4 cm or 8.5 cm).
  • Choose 4 studs of the same length and screw them into the wall base plates.

Notes: Ensure to tighten the stud completely & hand screw the white spacer sleeve on the stud clockwise, until it meets the wall mount.

FINAL STEP
Hang the purifier on the 4 wall studs, making sure the studs are hooked to the frame of the air purifier.
Notes: For a secure installation, the white spacer sleeve should touch the back cover. If there is a small space ensure to turn the white spacer sleeve counter clockwise to snug it to the back cover.

FIRST TIME USE

Now switch the unit ON, the touch panel will light up and you will see the display turn on.
The colour will change to reflect the current air quality (Green, Blue or Red). It will also display the particulate matter index (PM 2.5, PM 1.0 and PM 10). The top of the screen will display ANION (amount of negative ions output per second) to clear airborne allergens, pollen, mould spores, bacteria and viruses.

Once the unit is ON and operational, the fan speed can be changed to suit your desired needs. The fan has 4 speed options: Sleep Mode (only 35dB), Low, Medium and High. Please note that when auto mode is activated you will not be able to adjust the fan speed manually.

Pressing the child lock key will lock all control of the unit until pressed again for 3 seconds.
This is to ensure the administrator settings remain, you can also activate & deactivate using the APP.

The lifespan of the filter is 1500 hours, this will countdown automatically during operating hours. This should be reset using the touch button on the top of the unit ONLY once replaced. When the time gets down to 60 hours the filter icon will flash, warning you that it needs to be changed shortly.

The timer allows you to set-up the unit to automatically turn off after a pre- entered time frame from 1 to 12 hours.

When the auto mode button is pressed it will activate the unit’s automatic purifying mode.
The unit will sense the air quality and self-adjust to keep the air as fresh as possible. The fan speed will automatically adjust based on current air quality. To exit this mode you can simply press the auto mode again. If the fan speed button is pressed during auto mode it will go back to the manual mode.

Power Button
Touch once to turn on the machine (ON). Touch again to go into standby mode(OFF).

Child lock
Press to lock the settings and ensure they are not changed accidentally. Press again for 3 seconds to unlock.

Timer
Press the timer button to set timers ranging from 1 to 12 hours.

Speed Button
Press this to cycle through the 4 fan speed: Sleep Mode (1), Low Speed (2), Medium Speed (3) and High Speed (4).

Filter Reset
The initial lifespan of the filter is 1500 hours. When the remaining filter time is less than 60 hours, the filter remaining time icon will flash on the display screen.
After the filter replacement, press the “Filter Reset” button for 3 seconds to reset.

Auto Mode
Press the auto mode button to enjoy the automatic feature of the HYGEA PRO unit. Press again to return to manual mode.

  1. Using the finger grip notch at the top of the back cover, pull out & down to remove
  2. Remove the multi-stage filter cartridge
  3. Wipe the internal chassis before installing the new filterFILTER replacement 1
  4. Install the new filter (white/blue part facing you)
  5. Replace the back cover
  6. Filter replacement completed

Tuya Smart App Set-up GUIDE

Download & Install the Smart Life App on your phone or tablet.

Once logged/ registered into the App, add a new device selecting the Small Home Appliance category.

Step 1:
Download & Install the Smart Life App and set-up your HYGEA PRO unit.

Plug in the Amazon Alexa.
Step 3:
Download the Amazon Alexa App and set-up an account.
Step 4:
Open the menu and navigate to the Skills & Games page.
Step 5:
Use the search tool to find the Smart Life App.
Step 6:
Select the Smart Life App and press Enable to Use.
Step 7:
Enter your Smart Life login details and press Link Now.
Step 8:
Press Authorise. A page titled Discover Devices will open. You can ignore this page and press Close.
Step 9:
Use voice commands to turn on your Wi-Fi compatible air purifier. Sit back, relax and enjoy the clean air!

GOOGLE HOME Set-up GUIDE

Step 1:
Download & Install the Smart Life App and set-up your HYGEA PRO unit.
Step 2:
Plug in the Google Home.
Step 3:
Download the Google Home App and set-up an account.
Step 4:
Navigate to the Home Page and press Add.
Step 5:
Select set-up device.
Step 6:
Under Works with Google, select Have something already set up?
Step 7:
Use the search tool to find the Smart Life App.
Step 8:
Select the Smart Life App, enter your Smart Life login details and press Link Now.
Step 9:
Use voice commands to turn on your Wi-Fi compatible air purifier. Sit back, relax and enjoy the clean air!

1. Do not block the air inlet and outlet of this product, this is to avoid overheating inside the machine which would damage the HYGEA PRO.
2. Do not use outside the rated voltage, doing so may damage internal parts of the product, may cause a short in the circuit or a fire.
3. Do not place directly next to heater or radiator.
4. Do not disassemble the product, this should only be taken apart by trained professionals to avoid injury, electrocution or fire.
5. When replacing the filter, you must turn OFF the unit and un-plug before removing the rear panel.
7. The air purifier should only be used upright, do not attempt to use laying down as this can damage components.
9. Ensure to place your HYGEA PRO on a flat surface to ensure stability.
10. Avoid any contact with water or liquids, to prevent a short circuit.
11. For indoor use only, do not place in direct sunlight, rain or high humidity.
