*THIS DEVICE MUST BE ACTIVATED BEFORE USE. For detailed instructions, please refer to the Activation Guide. Welcome to Celerway GO, the most powerful and compact remote work product in the world. GO uses multiple networks at the same time to give you a secure internet connection from anywhere, without the need for an external power source. This guide will show you how to connect your GO device to the internet, and then connect your devices, such as company laptops and mobile phones, to GO. Release 1.1 © 2020 Celerway Communication AS

About the device

Mounting antennas
If you have a GO model with external antennas, mount the antennas only when the device is powered off.
Inserting SIM cards
GO uses micro-sized cellular data SIM cards that you must install in the SIM card slots as illustrated below.

1. Be sure that GO is powered off.
2. Open the rubber protector covering the SIM cards slots. When open, the protector remains attached to the device on the left side.
3. Insert the SIM card(s) in the SIM card slots with the connectors oriented to you, as illustrated.

WARNING Celerway GO contains Lithium-Ion batteries which are potentially hazardous: make sure you and any user of Celerway GO have read and understood the battery warnings and instructions.

Keeping the device cool
GO is a powerful enterprise router equipped with a battery that must be kept cool, especially under heavy use and in warm environments. For cooling, GO has two fans that you must keep unobstructed during operation. For more information about GO battery safety, see the sections Normal battery usage and Observe battery safety guidelines.

If you press and quickly release the power button, you can check the battery level as indicated by the 4 LEDs under the battery icon. The battery is fully charged when all 4  EDs are illuminated. Should you need to charge GO, use only the original charging equipment from Celery. Stop charging GO when its battery is fully charged. For more information on charging GO safely, see Normal battery usage and Observe battery safety guidelines.

Along the length of GO are 6 LED indicators that are illuminated when GO is powered on, its software is running properly, and the network interfaces are on/connected.

GO has two Ethernet ports: a WAN port for connecting GO to a local wired internet source, and a LAN port for connecting your laptop or other devices to GO.

Start using

Power on GO
To power on GO, press the power button to the left of the SIM card slots, holding the button down for 5 seconds.

Normal battery usage
» Charge the battery at room temperature: 68°F to 79° F (20°C to 26°C). If the battery temperature exceeds 113°F (60°C), charging may be disabled temporarily. If the battery is hot but under 113°F (60°C), it will charge more slowly than usual.
» It is normal for the battery to become warm while charging and discharging.
» The battery should be kept in a cool, dark, and dry environment. Avoid storing your device in direct sunlight or vehicles parked outdoors.
» Use the adapter and USB cable that came with your device.
» Use the latest firmware in your device and check for updates regularly.
» A heavy workload, such as streaming large amounts of data, consumes more battery power and causes the battery to run at a higher temperature than normal or light workloads.
» Over time, all batteries degrade and lose charge capacity and must be replaced eventually. Replace the battery if it does not charge or discharges far more quickly than when it was new.

Observe battery safety guidelines
» To avoid damaging the battery, do not charge it for more than 10 hours continuously.
» Stop using the battery if its case appears damaged, swollen, or compromised.
» Do not expose battery or the device to fire or a heat-generating environment such as space heater, cooking surface, iron, radiator, or fireplace.
» Do not expose the battery or the device to moisture or liquids. While the device may appear to dry and operate normally, undetected moisture could corrode the circuitry and eliminate safety mechanisms.
» Do not crush, puncture, deform or put excessive pressure on the battery, which could cause an internal short circuit and result in overheating.
» Avoid dropping the device on a hard surface, which could damage the battery and the device. If you suspect either the battery or the device has been damaged, have it replaced.
» Do not disassemble or modify batteries, and do not use a battery for anything other than its intended purpose.
» Do not allow the battery to come in contact with metal objects such as coins, buttons, jewelry, or tools.
Use approved batteries and chargers
» Use only manufacturer-approved batteries and accessories, purchased from a reputable dealer, with your Celerway device. Use of non-approved batteries, products, or accessories will void your device warranty.
Dispose of batteries properly
» Handle batteries with caution, and dispose of old batteries and equipment in compliance with your local government authority’s regulations for disposal and recycling of batteries, cell phones, and other electronic waste.
» Do not dispose of batteries by burning them in a fire.
