problem you might encounter
Problem: When you use sound console on a computer, and you are use the little
mic which attached in the earphone cable, and you not plug the condenser mic
in. At this time, maybe you will hear the sound hum, hum… from earphone.
Answer: Don’t worry, there is nothing wrong with your equipment. That’s the
static electricity sound from the mainframe computer. It’s usually happen only
when you’re using a desktop computer. If you use laptop, will not hear the
noise. Because the little mic is so simple that it can not cancel this noise.
You will find that the noise is canceling. When you use your hand to touch the
metal parts of the computer’s mainframe. This is because your body acts as a
super capacitor, absorbing the static electricity from the computer mainframe.
To cancel the noise, you just need to plug in the condenser mic, you will not
hear the noise. Because the little mic will be short circuit when you use the
condenser microphone.
We suggest you that use the condenser microphone when you use the equipment
with desktop computer. Not use the little microphone which attached in to
earphone’s cable
