PLAYARD USE LIMITATIONS

Discontinue use of playard when child is able to climb out.

  • Maximum height: 35 in (89cm)
  • Maximum weight: 30 lbs (14kg)

BASSINET USE LIMITATIONS

Discontinue use of bassinet when infant begins to push up on hands and knees, or rollover.

  • Maximum weight: 18 lbs (8kg)

CHANGING TABLE USE LIMITATIONS

  • Maximum weight: 25 lbs (11.3 kg)

WARNING

USING THE PLAYARD
Use Limit: Discontinue use of playard when child is able to climb out or reaches the height of 35 in (890 mm) or has reached 30 lbs (14 kg), whichever comes first.

  • Always provide the supervision necessary for the continued safety of your child.
  • The playard is for playing or sleeping. When used for playing, never leave child unattended and always keep child in view. When used for sleeping, follow pediatricians’ recommended guidelines on safe sleep. To reduce the risk of SIDS, pediatricians recommend healthy infants be placed on their back to sleep, unless otherwise advised by your physician.

Infants Can Suffocate

  • In gaps between a mattress too small or too thick and product sides
  • On soft bedding
  • NEVER add a mattress, pillow, comforter, or padding.
  • Never use this product or its accessories with more than one child at a time.
  • Never use this product if there are any loose or missing fasteners, loose joints, broken parts, or torn mesh or fabric. Check before assembly and periodically during use. Visit global.4moms.com for replacement parts. Never substitute parts.
  • The product, including the side rails, must be fully erected prior to use. Ensure locking mechanism is secure before placing child in playard.
  • When child is able to pull up to a standing position, remove bumper pads, large toys and other objects that could serve as steps for climbing out.
  • Strings can cause strangulation! Do not place items with a string around a child’s neck, such as hood strings or pacifier cords. Never suspend strings over the product or attach strings to toys.
  • Child can become entrapped and die when improvised netting or covers are placed on top of product. Never add such items to confine child in product.
  • Never place product near window or patio door where cords from blinds or drapes can strangle a child.
  • Always attach mattress securely. If mattress is not secured, child in playard can lift or shift mattress and get neck trapped between mattress and playard.
  • Prevent possible strangulation or entanglement. Never use playard sheet unless it fits securely on the playard mattress.
  • Use ONLY mattress and sheets provided by 4moms®.
  • Never use plastic shipping bag or another plastic film as mattress covers not sold and intended for that purpose. They can cause suffocation.
  • Never use a water mattress with this product.
  • Always keep the playard away from hazards in the area that may injure your child.
  • Please use caution when opening or closing on soft surfaces (wood or other surfaces) as it may result in marking of the surface.
  • Never leave child in product with the side lowered. Be sure side is in raised and locked position whenever child is in product.

USING THE BASSINET ON THE PLAYARD
Use Limit: Discontinue use of bassinet when infant begins to push up on hands and knees, or rolls over, or has reached 18 lbs (8 kg), whichever comes first.

SUFFOCATION HAZARD: INFANTS HAVE SUFFOCATED:

  • In gaps between an extra pad and side of the bassinet
  • On soft bedding
  • NEVER add a mattress, pillow, comforter, or padding. Use ONLY mattress and sheets provided by 4moms®.
  • To reduce the risk of SIDS, pediatricians recommend healthy infants be placed on their backs to sleep, unless otherwise advised by your physician.
  • FALL HAZARD: To help prevent falls, do not use this product when the infant begins to roll over, or push up on hands and knees, or has reached 18 lbs (8 kg), whichever comes first.
  • The bassinet must be fully assembled and installed, including bassinet mattress, before using.
  • ALWAYS secure the bassinet to the support frame by clipping onto the playard rails. See assembly instructions on pg 8.
  • Never leave bassinet in place when child is in playard.
  • Strings can cause strangulation! Do not place items with a string around a child’s neck, such as hood strings or pacifier cords. Never suspend strings over the product or attach strings to toys.
  • Do not place this bassinet near a window or patio door where a child could reach the cord of a blind or curtain and be strangled.
  • Do not place any cord, strap, or similar item in or near this bassinet that could become wrapped around a child’s neck.
  • Always check the bassinet is properly secured. Never use this product if there are any loose or missing fasteners, loose joints, broken parts, or torn mesh or fabric. Check before assembly and periodically during use. Visit global.4moms.com for replacement parts. Never substitute parts.
  • Never use this product or its accessories with more than one child at a time.

USING THE CHANGING TABLE ON THE PLAYARD
Use Limit: Discontinue use of changing table when your child reaches the weight of 25 lbs (11.3 kg).

  • Never leave accessory in place when child is in playard or bassinet.
  • Check that the accessory is supported by the playard by pushing down into center of the changing table.
  • FALL HAZARD: Children have suffered serious injuries after falling from changing tables. Falls can happen quickly.
  • Do not leave child unattended in or on this accessory. Stay in arm’s reach of your child at all times.
  • ALWAYS secure the changing table to the support frame by clipping onto the playard rails. See assembly instructions pg 10.
  • SUFFOCATION HAZARD: Babies have suffocated while sleeping in the changing areas. Changing areas are not designed for safe sleeping. NEVER allow baby to sleep in changing area.
  • STRANGULATION HAZARD: Child can lift changing table and get neck trapped between changing table and playard frame. Always remove the changing table when your child is in the playard.
  • Do not use on the floor, bed, counter or other surfaces.
  • Do not use changing table, add-on changing unit, or contoured changing pad if it is damaged or broken
  • Always check the changing table is properly secured. Never use this product if there are any loose or missing fasteners, loose joints, broken parts, or torn mesh or fabric. Check before assembly and periodically during use. Visit global.4moms.com for replacement parts. Never substitute parts.

Care

For your child’s continued safety, periodically inspect the product to make sure that all connections are securely fastened, that they do not show signs of wear or abuse, and that they are not damaged or broken. Visit www.4moms.com for replacement parts or contact 4moms Customer Care if instruction is needed. Never substitute parts.

For best results with your 4moms® breeze® playard:

  • Do not open or close the playard rapidly, as damage can occur. Each opening or closing operation should take 3-5 seconds.
  • Open and close the playard by pushing the handle straight down. Do not push or pull the posts or any other component while opening or closing.
  • Occasionally test the top rails of the playard by applying light pressure to them. If the top rail is loose at all, discontinue use.
  • Carry only by the handle or by gathering all four posts.
  • Do not drop.
  • Not for outdoor use. Use only on clean floor surfaces.
  • Avoid operating in temperature extremes.
  • If extreme temperatures cannot be avoided, allow the playard to come to room temperature before use.
  • Do NOT block the upward movement of the top rails while the playard is being opened.

Cleaning

FRAME
To clean the plastic parts or aluminum parts of the 4moms® breeze® , wipe with a solution of mild soap and water. Do not use bleach. Keep the feet and underside of the playard free of sand and abrasive grit. Avoid getting oil or lubricants on the plastic parts, as this can damage the plastic.

FABRIC
To clean the fabric of your breeze®, spot-clean with a solution of mild soap and water. Do not use bleach.

Warranty

4moms® warrants to the original purchaser of every new 4moms® breeze® playard that the unit will be free from defects in material and workmanship when used properly in accordance with the instructions contained in the product manual supplied with each breeze® playard. 4moms®’ obligation under this warranty is limited to a period of twelve (12) months from the date of purchase and applies only in the country of original purchase. The warranty is only valid for a product purchased from a 4moms® authorized retailer or distributor. Warranty is invalid for products purchased used. If the unit is determined by 4moms® to be defective within twelve (12) months of purchase, the warranty will cover the repair or replacement of the unit, parts, or assemblies. 4moms® assumes no liability for parts or labor coverage for component failure or other damage to the unit resulting from improper usage or failure to clean and/or maintain product as set forth in the product manual provided with the unit. This warranty does not cover claims resulting from: misuse, abuse, alteration, inflicted damage, accidental damage, normal wear and tear, involvement in an accident, and/or failure to comply with the instructions on assembly, maintenance and use. 4moms® does not assume any responsibility for personal injury or property damage incurred as a result of improper use or unauthorized modification of the breeze® playard.
