Getting Started Guide

Get to know

The front shell is fixed with the rear shell by magnetic suction, it can be opened by pulling up the two positions indicated in the figure.

The following figure can be seen when the front shell is opened.

Get started

Before using the mouse, please pull out the battery isolation strip in the direction of the arrow. The mouse can connect to the computer via a USB receiver and Bluetooth.

  1. Via USB receiver Refer to the “Get to know” above, open the front shell, take out the USB receiver and plug it into the USB port of the computer, turn on the power switch of the mouse, then the mouse function can be used after the computer recognizes it.
  2. Via Bluetooth (currently only Windows 10 and macOS are supported)
    (1) Turn on the Bluetooth of the computer and make sure the USB receiver is unplugged.
    (2) Long press the Bluetooth reset button at the bottom of the mouse for 3 seconds, and the Bluetooth signal light will flash quickly. (3) Find and click “M110” on the Bluetooth device of the computer. After successful pairing, the Bluetooth signal light of the mouse will be on for several seconds and then turn off.

Software installation

The voice function of the mouse needs to be operated with the voice assistant software. The software installation steps are as follows:

  1. For Windows 7 / 8 / 10 system, when the mouse has connected with the computer via USB receiver, long-press the mouse wheel button for 5 seconds, the computer will automatically open the download web page.
  2. After the software is installed, run the voice assistant program. When the color of the icon * in the taskbar changes from gray to blue, it means that the software is successfully connected with the mouse.
  3. For software support of other computer systems, please visit the official website (https://international.madao-go.com/#/download) to view and download.

Key features

  1. The common functions of the left button/ right button/scroll wheel are the same as an ordinary mouse.

  2. Voice button
    (1) Click the voice button once and then speak to achieve dictation or translation typing.
    (2) Double-click the voice button to switch between dictation mode and translation mode.

  3. Indicator light The indicator light is located under the mouse wheel, and its light is visible around the mouse wheel. When the voice function is being used, the blue light is always on. When the voice function is not used, the blue light is off.

Instruction

The software should be used together with the mouse. The usage is as follows:

  1. Voice typing (under dictation mode) (1) Place the cursor in an area where you can edit text, such as Word. (2) Click the voice button once. When the following pattern appears at the bottom right of the screen, say the text to be input. (3) Click the voice button twice in succession to switch dictation mode to translation mode.
  2. Voice translation (under translation mode) (1) Place the cursor in an area where you can edit text, such as Word.
  3. Voice translation (under translation mode) (1) Place the cursor in an area where you can edit text, such as Word. (2) Click the voice button once. When the following pattern appears 9 at the bottom right of the screen, say the text to be translated. (3) Click the voice button twice in succession to switch from translation mode to dictation mode.
  4. Software interface operation Right-click the icon 40 at the bottom right of the screen to open the software setting interface, where you can set the application and mouse functions respectively.

Precautions

  1. Do not disassemble, repair or refit the mouse for any reason, otherwise, it may cause electric shock, fire, complete damage to the product, or other hazards.
  2. If you need to replace the battery, please make sure that the battery type is AA alkaline battery.
  3. When installing the battery into the mouse, make sure that the battery is facing in the correct direction.
  4. Discarded batteries should be disposed of in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions and local laws.
  5. When using the product indicator light, please keep away from the eyes of children or animals.
  6. Do not wipe the product with alcohol or other volatile liquid.
  7. Please avoid contact with liquid.

Battery use warning!
If the battery is replaced improperly, there may be a risk of leakage or explosion and personal injury. If replaced with the wrong battery type, there may be a risk of fire or explosion. Please refer to the instructions attached to ensure that the battery is installed correctly. If the rechargeable battery is not disposed of properly, there may be a risk of fire or chemical burn. Do not remove or contact the battery with conductive materials, liquids, or expose it to an environment with a temperature of more than 54°C (130°F). Batteries at extremely low pressure can cause explosions or flammable liquids or gas leaks. Do not use or charge the battery in case of leakage, discoloration, deformation or any other abnormality. Do not allow the battery to be discharged or not in use for a long time. Do not short circuit. Your device may contain a built-in rechargeable battery that cannot be replaced. Battery life varies with usage. The abandoned battery shall be discarded according to local laws. If there are no relevant laws or regulations, discard your device in the trash can for electronic devices. Batteries should be placed away from children.

FAQ

  1. The mouse cannot be used after the USB receiver is plugged into the USB port of the computer. What should I do? Change a USB port to plug in the USB receiver. It is recommended to use the rear USB port for PC. It is not recommended to plug the USB receiver into the external hub for the laptop.

  2. The voice assistant fails to run. What should I do? Check whether the voice assistant is killed by 360 and other security software by mistake. Close the security software and install the voice assistant again.

  3. The mouse can be used normally. Why is the software icon in the taskbar gray?
    (1) Replace the USB port plug in the USB receiver again and try again.
    (2) Reopen the voice assistant and try again.
    (3) Restart the computer and try again.
    (4) Reinstall voice assistant and try again.

  4. A Bluetooth connection has been used. How to use the USB receiver again?
    (1) Delete “M110” in Bluetooth settings of PC.
    (2) Remove the USB receiver and plug it into the USB port of the computer.
    (3) Long press the mouse Bluetooth reset button for 3 seconds, the Bluetooth signal light flashes quickly, and place the mouse close to the USB receiver within 30cm. After the pairing is successful, the mouse Bluetooth signal light will be on for several seconds and then off. (Please complete this step within 30 seconds)
