Foxnovo MX2 soundbar measures about 94cm in length, with 2 cavities, about 40cm in length each, providing a super-large sound field. 4pcs 2.25-inch mid- bass speakers and 2pcs 1-inch treble speakers, plus rear type inverted tubes, featuring a shocking feeling of low frequency, mildness intermediate frequency, and permeability treble. An excellent product for watching movies and listening to music.

Important Safety Instructions

1. Please read this instruction manual carefully follow all instructions, pay attention to all precautions.
2. Do not use this apparatus near water and clean only with a dry cloth.
3. Do not block any ventilation openings. Install in accordance with the installation instructions.
4. Do not install near any heat sources such as radiators, heat registers, stoves, or other apparatuses that may generate heat.
5. Do not defeat the safety purpose of the polarized or grounding-type plug. A polarized plug has two blades with one wider than the other. A grounding-type plug has two blades and a third grounding prong. If the provided AC adapter plug does not fit into your outlet, consult an electrician for the replacement of the obsolete outlet.
6. Please protect the AC adapter from being walked on or pinched particularly the plugs, be careful when plugging and unplugging.
7. For better results, only use the accessories we provide.
8. Unplug this apparatus during lightning storms or when unused for long periods of time.
9. Refer all servicing to qualified service personnel. Servicing is required when the apparatus has been damaged in any way, such as power supply cord or plug is damaged, liquid has been spilled or objects have fallen into the apparatus, the apparatus has been exposed to rain or moisture, does not operate normally, or has been dropped.

Precautions

1. Please be careful not to drop and hit the soundbar, for it will damage the cavity structure and affect the sound quality.

2. Please charge with the provided AC power adapter, if you use other adapters, may cause damage to the product.

3. Please make sure the soundbar is off before you plugin.

4. Any individuals shall not be unauthorized to dismantle or refit the product. Our company is not responsible for the damage to persons or products caused by this reason.

5. Never place the soundbar near fire sources, magnetic objects, or anywhere with too much water.

6. To reduce the risk of fire or electric shock, do not expose this apparatus to rain or moisture.

7. As long as the machine is connected to an AC power outlet, the power will not be disconnected, even if the machine itself is turned off.

8. To reduce the fire hazard, please do not cover the vents of the device with newspapers, tablecloths, curtains, etc.

9. Do not place the appliance near fire sources like lighted candles.

10. Do not expose this appliance to drip or splash area, and do not place objects filled with liquids on the appliance.

11. As the AC power adapter is used to connect the unit with the power outlet, please use an easily accessible AC outlet. If you notice an abnormality in the unit, disconnect the AC adapter from the AC outlet immediately.

Installation Method

1. Take out the mounting screws and wall mount template from the package.
   Notes:
   As a plasterboard wall is especially fragile, please choose a suitable wall for installation, hang the soundbar horizontally with screws in a continuous flat section of the wall.
   We are not responsible for accidents or damage caused by improper installation, insufficient wall strength, improper screw installation, or natural disasters.

2. Stick WALL MOUNT TEMPLATE (supplied) on a wall.
   1 Align TV CENTERLINE (Q) of WALL MOUNT TEMPLATE with the centerline of your TV.
   2 Align TV BOTTOM LINE (@j ) of WALL MOUNT TEMPLATE with the bottom of your TV, then stick WALL MOUNT TEMPLATE on a wall by using commercially available adhesive tape, etc.

3. Fasten the screws into the marks on SCREW LINE (0) of WALL MOUNT TEMPLATE as the illustration below.

4. Remove WALL MOUNT TEMPLATE.

5. Hang the soundbar on the screws.
   Align the holes of the rear of the soundbar with the screws, then hang the soundbar on the two screws.

Press the EQ button to switch different sound effects, when you watch a movie or listen to music, you can choose your favorite sound effect according to your actual listening experience.

Use Guidance

POWER ON/OFF

1. Plug the AC adapter into a power outlet, connect the DC port of the adapter to the soundbar DC port, turn on the AC power switch on the back of the soundbar first, short press the power button on the soundbar for 2s to switch on, short press 2s again to switch off.
2. When disconnecting the power cable of the AC power adapter from a wall outlet, pull the plug, do not pull the cable.
3. Do not connect this unit or other components to the AC power outlet until all connections of components are completed.
4. Make sure to place the AC adapter flat on a table or the floor. Please be careful not to let water or other foreign objects enter the adapter, for these objects may cause adapter malfunction.

AUDIO INPUT MODES

This soundbar provides 6 audio input ways: wireless, AUX, HDMI ARC, optical fiber, USB, coaxial. You can switch the mode by pressing the “MODE” button on the right side of the soundbar or using the remote control.

BE (wireless mode):
Turn on the AC power switch of the soundbar, press the “MODE” button on the remote control or on the side of the soundbar to enter wireless mode, use phone, TV, or devices with wireless function to search for the wireless named “Foxnovo MX2* for pairing, the soundbar will play after pairing successfully If you cannot connect with the soundbar, maybe someone else has connected to your soundbar already, at this time, you need to long-press the “Play & Pause” button on the remote control or on the right side of the soundbar to disconnect the wireless connection by force, after that, you can connect again.

AU (AUX Mode)

Method 1: Plug one end of the 3.5mm AUX cable into the TV’s AUX OUT port, plug the other end into the AUX IN port of the soundbar. Turn on the AC power switch, then press the “MODE” button on the right side of the soundbar or use the remote control to switch into AUX mode, LINE IN voice prompt will come out if switches successfully, you can use this mode now.

Method 2: If your TV does not have an AUX OUT port, but with RCA OUT port, please plug one end of the 3.5mm AUX cable into the AUX IN port of the soundbar, and plug the other end into the RCA adapter cable. After that, plug the red and white RCA end into the RCA OUT port of the TV, turn on the AC power switch on the soundbar, adjust to AUX mode by pressing the “MODE” button on the right side of the soundbar or using the remote control, LINE IN voice prompt will send out if switches successfully (Please make sure that your TV has AUX OUT/RCA OUT port).

HD (HDMI ARC Mode)

This mode requires your TV to support HDMI ARC function, please plug one end of the HDMI cable into TV, power amplifier, or Blu-ray player and plug the other end into the HDMI ARC port of the soundbar when using the HDMI ARC mode, then change the sound output mode of the TV or other devices to HDMI ARC output. Turn on the AC power switch on the soundbar, press the “MODE” button on the right side of the soundbar or on the remote control to switch into HDMI mode. After that, the soundbar will play sound.

OP (Optical Fiber Mode)

Insert one end of the optical digital cable into the OPT port of the soundbar and plug the other end into the optical fiber port of TV, Blu-ray player, power amplifier, DVD, or other devices. Turn on the AC power switch on the soundbar, press the “MODE” button on the remote control or on the right side of the soundbar to adjust to OP mode. It will play at once.

US (USB Mode)

Insert your U disk with audio files into the soundbar USB port, turn on the AC power switch, it will play music after you press the “MODE” button on the right side of the soundbar or on the remote control to enter USB mode. In any play mode, if you insert a U disk, the soundbar will play the audio files in the U disk first.

CO (Coaxial Mode)

Plug one end of the coaxial cable into the coaxial port of the soundbar, and insert the other end into the coaxial port on the TV, Blu-ray player, power amplifier, DVD or other equipment. Press the “MODE” button on the right side of the soundbar or on the remote control after you turn on the soundbar to switch into coaxial mode. It will play sound immediately.

• Connectable Devices: Smart TV, computer, mobile phone, tablet, game console (XBOX, PS5), projector, set-top box, MP3, etc.
• LED Function : The light is turned off by default when the soundbar is turned on, long-press the light on/off button on the soundbar or remote control for 3s to turn on light, then long-press 3s again to turn off.

Troubleshooting

Q) Why Is there no sound coming out after connecting to a TV using ARC/Optical (Common)?
A) Please make sure your TV supports ARC output. Then go to ‘setting” in your TV (may vary due to different brand):

1. Setting>Sound>Select Speaker to: external speaker(optical momentum off TV Speaker.
2. Setting>Sound(audio)’Advanced Audio>Digital Audio Output>PCM Setting> SounckaudiM>audio output fcemat>PCM/Dolby off-Please select the Correct Input mode.

Q) Why Is there no sound or noise when watching Netflix, Disney+, Amazon prime (they have sound on Smart TV)?
A) If your TV is a smart T. Apps like Nettlbc were set default audio output is Dolby and OTS for the movie. but this soundbar does not support Dolby and DTS. so you will hear the crack sound or no sound. please kindly disable the Dolby and INS on Netflix.
Q) Why can’t my wireless device connect to the soundbar?
Al) You have not enabled wireless on your device or soundbar.
A2) Maybe someone else has connected to your soundbar already, at this time, you need to long prose the ‘Play S Pause* button on the remote control or on the right side of the soundbar for 3s to disconnect the wireless connection by force.
A3) When connecting wireless, by not to place routers and other devices next to the soundbar.
Q) Is this compatible with Fire TV/ Firestick?
A) Yes, plug the Flee TV to the TV. And connect the TV using any input mode. If using Optical or ARC, please make sure you have followed our manual setting.
Q) Why doesn’t the remote control work?
Al) Double check if the batteries are correctly installed in the battery slot.
A2) Replace two brand new AAA batteries (Point the remote to the center of the soundbar (IR is built in the front of the soundbar).
A3) Please check if the positive and negative of the battery are right.
A4) Please check if the receiving location is blocked.
A5) The working distance of the remote Is 6-8m (empty place).
Q) Why Is the battery not Included? A) The battery is not included due to Amazon Safety Regulation. We apologize for the inconvenience.
