SMART ENTRY Encoder Reader
Using Instruction
INSTALL APP
**1.1 iPhone
**
- Open the App Store on your
- Click on the search bar above. phone.
- Search and install EvoKey.
1.2 Android ****
- Open the Google Play Store on your phone.
- Click on the search bar above.
- Search and install EvoKey.
REGISTER
- Open the EvoKey on your phone, click “Register”.
- After entering the name, email and password, click “Next”.
- Enter the verification code.
- Account registration is successful.
INTRODUCTION OF ENCODER READER
- Encoder reader supports E-Cylinder, E-Handle, and E-Latch
- Encoder reader can only be used after it is bound with a lock, and cannot be used alone.
- An encoder reader can bind multiple locks within the valid range.
- Only when the encoder reader is online can the permission in lock be updated and the events in lock be reported.
INSTALL ENCODER READER

After entering the account and password, click “Login”.

Click the “+” button in the upper right corner of the interface to enter the add device interface.

Click the encoder reader you want to install.

After entering the name, click

Set the network mode. “Next”.

Wait to connect to the encoder reader.

Select the locks to bind.

Take a picture and click “Next”.

Encoder reader installation completed.
USE ENCODER READER
1) When the encoder reader is online, it automatically updates the
permission of the lock bound to it in real-time and reports the events in the
lock to the background.
DELETE ENCODER READER
- Click the settings icon in the upper
- Click “Delete Device”. the right corner of the interface to enter the device menu interface.
- Enter the password and click “Submit”.
ONLINE STATUS OF ENCODER READER

1 | Online | The encoder reader has no prompt light. When it is online, it can |
update the permissions in the locks and report the events in the locks to the
background.
2| Offline| The red light of the encoder reader flashes once every 2 seconds.
When offline, the locks
cannot be updated and no operation is done to the locks.
