Appearance and Functions

Install instructions

FIx the desk clamp on your desk
Insert one end of the boom arm into the desk clamp and lock it tight
FIx the shock mount on the 3 / 8 screws of the boom arm
Rotate the microphone and fix it on the shock mount, keeping it facing you.
Put the pop filter in a suitable place at the boom arm
Plug the USB into the microphone and the computer, facing the microphone and recording.

Computer Setup

1. Mac System

Click the apple logo in the upper left corner to open “System Preferences”.
Click the “Sound” icon.
Click the “Input” option, take “MR02 Audio” as the input device (usually the computer will automatically set MR02 as the default input device), and drag the volume bar to adjust the input volume.
Click the “Output” option, take “MR02 Audio” as the output device (usually the computer will automatically set MR02 as the default output device), and drag the volume bar to adjust the output volume.

2. Windows System

Click the trumpet icon in the lower right corner of the screen, and click the “Sounds” option.
Click “Playback”, select “MR02 Audio”, and click “Set Default” below (MR02 will be set as the default output device automatically by the computer).
Click “Recording”, select “MR02 Audio”, and click “Set Default” below (MR02 will be set as default input device automatically by the computer).
Double click “MR02 Audio”, click “Levels”, drag the volume bar to adjust the input volume.

Attentions

If you record by software, please exit the software completely, connect the microphone, and then turn on the software to record.
It is forbidden to place the microphone in a place where the temperature exceeds 110 degrees Fahrenheit, damp or exposed to the sun, so as to avoid electrical instability and acoustic problems.
If the microphone has no sound, please confirm your computer is not muted, and volume control is not adjusted to the minimum, then choose the right input and output devices on sound settings.
If the computer can not recognize the microphone, please restart your computer, and then plug the microphone into another USB port.
When using the microphone, please keep facing the microphone (logo side) and do not hold the microphone mesh with your hand.
If the equipment is damaged or the indicator light is not on, please contact us in time, and do not disassemble the microphone without permission.

Q—Is the microphone compatible with Windows, Mac OS, or PS4?
A—Yes, all versions of computer equipment, like Windows, macOS, Linux are supported, PS4 and PS5 are supported, too. You can even use it on your mobile phones and tablets, but you need an OTG adapter to connect.
Q—Why the computer can’t recognize the microphone?
A—Please disable the connection of the microphone, restart the computer, then reconfigure your computer according to the “computer settings” steps in the manual.
Q—Why the Windows system has been set up according to the steps, but there is still no sound?
A—It may be that Windows privacy settings have been turned on. Please open the settings and click “privacy” » ” Microphone “, confirm that” allow applications to access your microphone “is on, and set the application that needs to use the microphone below to” open “.
