Bluetooth Headset Wearing Method

DM-200

DM-200 is a professional mono bluetooth headset. It is designed for fitting botb left and right ears. Simply swirl the ear-hook: and adjust the eartip so that !lie headset would be securely placed on your ear comfortably on either ear.

Powering On & Off/ Battery Charging

DM-200

  • Power On: Long Press MFB for about 3 second. White light will flash and then tum offto enter into stand-by or operation mode.
  • Power Off: Long Press MFB for about 3 second. White light will flash and then tum off with voice prompt.
  • Battery Charging: Plug with a 5V USB cable from the package only. High voltage cables will damage the headset. During charging, white light will tum on ; whilst off upon completion.
  • Low Battery Alert: White light flashes every 20 sec meaning that you have to charge the headset.

Pairing Headset with Bluetooth Device

DM-200

Make sure your phone has Bluetooth function.
Pair DM-200 with phone / tablet/ computer (see also your device manual). During pairing, your device and DM-200 have to stay close for smooth pairing (within I meter)

  1. From off state of the headset, hold headset MFB for about 3-5 seconds till white light continues lo flash to enter into pairing mode;
  2. Activate Bluetooth function of your device to search for Bluetooth headset (please refer to the device manual);
  3. Select and confirm your headset model from the searched list;
  4. Input PIN 0000 to complete pairing. When the headset MFB flashes stop, the headset and your device would be successfully paired and connected. Some devices would automatically pair and connect to the bluetooth headset during the searching process without entering PIN 0000.

Music Playing/ Phone Calling

DM-200

  • Answer/ Hang up a Call: Click MFB once.
  • Reject a Call: Long press MFB.
  • Play/ Pause Music: Press MFB once.
  • Volume Adjustment: Press+/-button.
  • Play Next/ Previous Song: Long Press the volume-/ + button for 3 sec. Replay: Double-click MFB button.

Disclaimer: We would not assure that any Bluetooth device with A2DP / APTX would work with this bluetooth headset as numerous smart phones / tablets are adopting proprietary programs.

Pairing with Additional Bluetooth Devices

  1. The headset would memorize up to 8 devices, if the 9th device is paired, the first paired device will be removed from the headset automatically.
  2. Any paired device among the 8 memorized devices can launch connection to the headset without further pairing, whilst the last connected device shaU become the default device.

Dual Phone Connection

  1. Pair !st phone following steps of [Pairing Headset with Bluetooth Device];
  2. Turn off the Headset, shut down I st device bluetooth function; Launch the pairing steps for the second device following steps [Pairing Headset with Bluetooth Device];
  3. After paired with the 2nd phone, turn off headset again. Then, turn on bluetooth function of first paired device followed by turning on the headset;
  4. Dual phone connection shall be in force.

Answer Call When Dual Phones Connection

  1. Press MFB button once to answer the 1st call;
  2. Talking to 1st phone, press MFB twice to answer 2nd incoming call;
  3. Double click MFB in order to revert listening to the I st call;
  4. To hang up, press MFB button once.

Troubleshooting

If there is noisy sound from the headset while making calls:

  • Please check if Bluetooth headset and mobile phones are within operating distance (within IO meters without obstacles in-between);
  • For best sound quality, we suggest wearing the headset and mobile phone at the same side of your body. For best result, please place the microphone of the bluetooth  headset 7-8 cm away from your mouth”; or put the microphone of mono bluetooth headset as close as possible to your mouth;
  • Check if earphone wires (for wired earphones only) are not damaged & have been inserted into the jack properly.

If there is no sound from the headset while making calls :

  • Please check if the headset is on and the battery has been charged;
  • Check if headset is paired and connected with mobile phone successfully;
  • Ensure earphones are properly inserted into earpbonejack (for wired earphones only)

Mobile phone fails to connect with the headset:

  • Please check if the headset is on and has been charged;
  • Please check whether the headset has been paired with the mobile phones;
  • If the headset fails to connect automatically to the default paired device(s), please recharge the headset, or power it off and then restart again; or re-launch the pairing and connection again;
  • Please make sure there is no obstacle or interference in-between the operation distance (IO metres) for Bluetooth headset and the mobile phone, such as wall, human body, other electronic equipments, etc;
  • Please make sure the device to connect with the Bluetooth headset is one of the last 8 paired Bluetooth devices which ID have already been memorized by the headset; otherwise, please pair it before the connection.
  • If problems persist, power off phone or headset; charge the headset again; delete the pairing and re-launch again. ,8.

Caution

  • Please comply with law when you are using Bluetooth headset. Certain venues and occasions would forbid its usage, such as hospitals, blasting area, places with explosive hazard, etc;
  • Bluetooth headset is forbidden during flight journey;
  • Making call while you arc driving would distort concentration. Therefore, you must drive safely if you take the risk to operate the headset inside car. You must comply to driving regulation enacted in your area;
  • Don’t put the headset over areas where airbag may unfold inside the car cabinet. The force generated by such unfold would make the headset very dangerous to the human body;
  • Keep the Bluetooth headset away from children as the headset is not a toy and the small parts may cause suffocation to endanger them;
  • Using loud volume of the headset to talk would hurt your hearing ability.

Maintenance

  • Keep the device dry. Rain, mist and any type of liquid or moisture may be harmful to the electronic circuit;
  • If the headset gets wet, it would be damaged and malfunction. Make sure the unit is completely dry before you try to power it on again;
  • Don’t use chemicals, cleaning agent, detergent, etc to clean it;
  • Do not use or store the device in dusty or dirty place;
  • Don’t put the headset in very hot place. High temperature will shorten the life span of the electronic device, damage the battery, or melt the unit;
  • Don’t put the headset in very cold place. When the headset resumes to normal temperature, moisture would be condensed that wi11 damage the electronic circuit;
  • Don’t attempt to drop, knock or shake the device. Improper handling will damage the electronic circuit and the delicate structure;
  • Do not paint the device. Painting may clog certain parts and prevent proper operation;
  • If the unit is idle for long time, please fully charge it before using.

The above suggestions are applicable to the headset, battery and any other spare electronic parts that are coming from the original packing of the bluetooth headset or sold separately via the product’s authorized dealer.
