PREPARING FOR INSTALLATION
- Remove the foam protector from inside the case.
- Peel back and remove the clear protective lining from inside and outside of the case (on clear panel).
INSERTING YOUR 1PAD INTO THE CASE
- Firmly press the top corners of the iPad into the top corners of the case, ensuring the frame of the case covers the top and corners of the iPad
- Firmly press the bottom comes off the iPad into the bottom comers of the case, so they snap into place, and the frame of the case covers the bottom edge and corners of the iPad.
- Once all four corners are firmly in position, and the edge of the case fits smoothly around the front oute「edge of the iPad, the device is installed correctly into the case
REMOVING YOUR iPAD FROM THE CASE
- Release the top right corner of the iPad by pushing the corner of the case back and away from the iPad
- Release the bottom right corner of the iPad by firmly pushing the corner of the case away from the iPad
- The iPad will be easy to remove once the top and bottom right corners are released from the case
CHARGING THE KEYBOARD
Insert one end of the USB-G cable into a power source (not included) and the
other end into the port on the rights1de of the keyboard. The red light will
illuminate while charging and will switch to green when fully charged.
TURNING THE KEYBOARD ON AND OFF
Once the keyboard is charged, it can be turned on and off using the toggle
switch that is located on the right side of the keyboard, next to the charging
port
Off= toggle towards the 1Pad
On = toggle away from the iPad
PAIRING YOUR KEYBOARD WITH YOUR iPad
The Dux Bluetooth Keyboard links to your iPad via a Bluetooth connection. The first time you use the keyboard case, it must be paired with your iPad.
ON THE KEYBOARD:
- Turn the keyboard on, making sure that the on/off toggle is switched away from the iPad
- press and hold the Fn key and the C key at the same time, until the blue light next to the charging port flashes. When this happens, the keyboard is discoverable” by the iPad
ON THE iPad:
- In settings, select Bluetooth > On
- Select “Dux Bluetooth Keyboard” from the Devices menu
- When a successful connection is made, the status light turns solid blue for a short time and then turns off

Your Dux Bluetooth Keyboard includes status lights that provide information
about the battery power and Bluetooth connection:
