Starting operation:

  • Remove wireless outdoor sensor battery cover and insert 2 x AA batteries with the right polarity [“+”and”-“]. Push the channel selector switch to set the correct channel.
  • All the icons on the LCD display will briefly light up for 3 seconds. The wireless outdoor sensor will switch to the normal mode, detecting the current temperature and humidity. At this time, the sensor will automatically start transmitting wireless signal per minute. Each transmission will be indicated by one flash.

User registration:
Download the APP, open APP, and you will be transferred to the registration interface, as shown below. When registration is completed, enter your mailbox to activate your account.Life wes weather station fig

Base station and APP connection

  • After registration and activation, login and you will be transferred to the base station interface. Choose the base station router name, enter Wi-Fi login password, and go to the next interface by clicking NEXT.
  • Turn on the Bluetooth on your mobile phone. Scan for available devices and connect to the weather station.
  • Connect the adapter to base station and after connect it with the mains. All the symbols on the display screen will be displayed for approximately 3 seconds. If it is the first use of the base station, it will automatically enter the AP mode, and AP (AutoPairing) will be displayed.
  • If it is not the first use, the base station will switch to the normal mode, detecting the current temperature, and humidity. However, because Wi-Fi mode is not set up, the network weather forecast information cannot be obtained, and the air pressure, weather forecast and temperature forecast will not be displayed. In this case, when the “WiFi” button is held for more than 3 seconds, the base station will automatically enter the AP (AutoPairing) mode.
  • Go back to the APP and confirm your current location.
  • Select W003 as connection method.
  • When the base station enters the AP (AutoPairing) mode, click “NEXT” on the APP interface, and you will automatically be transferred to the system’s Wi-Fi settings, select the Wi-Fi hot spot “Weathetype” and confirm the connection.
  • Continue by clicking “NEXT”, to start the base station connection, and after a few seconds, if the match is successful, the APP interface will pop up a matching success message. At this time, hold “Wi-Fi” button on the base station for more than 3 seconds, letting the base station exit AP (AutoPairing) mode. You will be transferred to the system’s Wi-Fi settings again.
  • When the APP interface is displayed, APP will automatically set the location of the base station and show the main matches. At the same time, the base station is automatically connected to the Wi-Fi hot spot after the AP (AutoPairing) mode is exited. When the connection is successful, the base station will automatically obtain the time, air pressure, weather forecast and temperature prediction of the network, and display it on the screen.

automatically obtain and display the time, air pressure, weather forecast and temperature forecast of the network

  • The base station will now start the connection to the outdoor remote sensor. This operation lasts approximately 3 minutes and is followed by a flashing reception RF antenna symbol “W” the “OUTD OOR” display area on the receiver. The “OUTD OOR” display area will show the RF antenna symbol flashing, indicating the base station is searching for the signal from the outdoor sensor. At the same time the base station begins to establish Wi-Fi connections (for details check the previous Wi -Fi connection description).
    Note: The battery is a backup power supply of the Base  Station, in case the power adapter is unexpectedly cut off. However, after the power adapter is disconnected, the Wi-Fi connection of the base station will be automatically disconnected and the station will switch to normal mode.

Outdoor sensor transmission:

  • When the base station successfully receives signals from the wireless sensor, the outdoor temperature and humidity are displayed on the “OUTD OOR” column of the Base Station.
  • The base station can be connected up to 3 wireless channel sensors. Each wireless sensor must emit in a different channel.
  • Push the ” ! ” button to switch the display of a different channel of outdoor temperature and humidity. When the symbol “(!” is displayed, it will change channels automatically every 5 seconds.
  • If the Base Station fails to receive transmission from outdoor sensor(“- -“display on the LCD), push and hold ” ! ” button for 3 seconds to receive transmission  manually. The outdoor temperature will show an animation of the RF antenna symbol and the Base Station will receive the wireless signal of the outdoor sensor.
    Note : When the wireless sensor set up different channels,  the base station “OUTDOOR” also must switch to the same channel. When there is no wireless sensor signal transmission on the channel, “–” will be displayed in the channel of the base station.

Manual settings:

  • Push and hold the” -(I-” button for 2 seconds, the temperature display will start to flash. Now use” ! “and “w:,” buttons to set the temperature unit in °C or °F.

  • Push “-(I-” to confirm your setting, the barometric pressure display (hPa/mb) will start to flash. Now use ” ! ” and “w:,” buttons to set the pressure unit in hPa/mb  or inHg or mmHg.

  • Push” -Q-” to confirm your setting, the wind speed display (km/h) will start to flash. Now use “cii””” and “w,,,” buttons to set the pressure unit in km/h or Mph.

  • Push” <I-” to confirm your setting, the 12/24 hour mode display will start to flash. Now use” ! ” and” w”” buttons to set the correct 12/24 hour mode.

  • Push “-(I-” to confirm your setting, the Time zones will start to flash, Now use ” ! ” and “w”” buttons set the correct time zone (-12 to +12).

  • Push “-(I-” to confirm your setting, the Hour display will start to flash. Now use” ! “and” w:,” buttons to set the correct hour.

  • Push “-(I-” to confirm your setting, the Minute display will start to flash. Now use” ! ” and” w”” buttons to set te¼:orrect minute.

  • Push “-(I-” button to confirm your setting, the Month and Date display will start to flash. Now use “and”” buttons to set the date display either asw:, th/Date w ; Date/Month.

  • Push “-(I-” button to confirm your setting, the Year display (2017) will start to flash. Now use”! “and ” buttons to set the correct year.

  • Push “-(I-” button to confirm your setting, the Month display will start to flash. Now use” ! ” and” w”” buttons to set the correct month.

  • Push “-(I-” button to confirm your setting, the Date display will start to flash. Now use” ! ” and” w:,” buttons to set the correct date.

  • Push “-(I-” button to confirm your setting, the language selection for the Weekday display will start to flash. Now use ” ! ” and “w”” buttons to select a language.

  • Push ” -Q- ” to confirm your setting and then finish the setting procedures, by entering the clock mode.
    Note:

  • After 20 seconds without pressing any button, the clock switches automatically from Set Mode to Normal Time Mode.

  • There are 8 languages for Weekday: English, German, Italian, French, Spanish, Dutch, Danish and Russian

  • When the Wi-Fi connection is successful, the time will be automatically updated to the network time, the symbol will display. At this time, time and time zones cannot change manually.

Setting the daily alarms:

  • Push once the “ALARM ON/OFF” button and the display will switch to alarm activation mode. Press “ALARM” button for 2 second! until Alar Time hour display starts to flash. Use the” ci,” and” w,,, “buttons to set the required hour.
  • Press “ALARM” button to confirm your setting, the Minute display starts to flash. Use the ” !, ” and ” w:, ” buttons to set the required minute.
  • Press “ALARM” button to confirm your setting, the snooze time of the Alarm starts to flash. Use the ” !, ” and ” w:, ” buttons to set the minute of snooze.
  • Press “ALARM” button to confirm your setting and finish the setting procedure

Turning on/off the alarm function

  • When the alarm switch is pushed in the ” t- ” position, LCD display shows the” !►. ” icon, the alarm function is on followed by a “beep” sound.
  • When the alarm switch is pushed in the “. ” position, the ” !►. ” icon disappears and the alarm function is off.

Switching off the alarm signal

  • While the alarm rings, press any button except the ” -O- / zZ” button or touch the “-O- / zZ ” button for at least 3 seconds to stop the alarm signal.

NOTE :

  • After 20 seconds without pushing any button the clock switches automatically from setting mode to normal clock mode.
  • The alarm will sound for 2 minutes if you do not deactivate it by pushing any button. In this case the alarm will be repeated automatically after 24 hours.
  • Rising alarm sound (crescendo, duration: 2 minutes) changes the volume 4 times while the alarm signal is heard.
  • The snooze time setting range: 5 ~ 60MIN (Snooze time unit: minute)
  • OFF: no snooze function

Snooze function:

  • While the alarm is ringing, touch the “-0- / zZ” button once to activate the snooze function. The alarm signal sounds again as you had already set.
  • When in snooze mode, press any button except the “-0- / zZ” button or touch the “-0- / zZ” button at least 3 seconds to exit the snooze mode.
    Note: When the snooze function is set to OFF, while the alarm is ringing, by pushing the “-0- / z2 ” button it will not activate the snooze function.

Maximum/minimum temperature and humidity

  • To toggle indoor/outdoor maximum, minimum temperature and humidity data, push the “MEMORY” button:
    • Once to show the maximum temperature and humidity values.
    • Twice to sow the minimum temperature and humidity values.
    • Three times to return to the current temperature and humidity levels.
    • To reset the maximum and minimum temperature and humidity, push and hold down the “MEMORY” button about 2 seconds. This will reset all minimum and maximum data recorded to the current displayed values
      Note: If the temperature reading is below ranges, the “LL.L” will be displayed. If the temperature reading is above ranges, the “HH.H” will be displayed.

Low battery:

  • If the battery icon appears in the “IN” column, please replace the new batteries in the base station.
  • If the battery icon appears in the “OUT” column, please check the channel connected to the base station. Afterwards, replace the batteries in the matching wireless sensor,

Background lighting

  • If the weather station is powered by the power supply adapter, the backlight will be continuously on. Press the “-(I-” button to adjust the brightness of the backlight. You can adjust it in 3 different brightness backlights and in no backlight (low, medium, high/OFF). Users can choose according to personal preferences of different brightness backlighst or turn off the backlight. When the backlight is in the dark brightness or off, you can touch the “-0- / zZ” button to lighten the maximum brightness of backlight for 15 seconds.
  • If the product is power supplied by batteries, touch the “-0- / zZ” field. Backlight turns on for 15 seconds.

Weather forecast

  • After the base station is connected to the Wi-Fi hotspot, the weather information of the base station will be updated automatically every hour with the weather forecast information obtained from the network.
  • You can also push “Wi-Fi” button once at the base station and open the Wi-Fi function, to manually connect the network for information update.
  • The base station automatically downloads real-time air pressure from the network, today’s weather forecasts, the next four days of weather forecasts and forecasts of the highest and lowest temperatures
  • The base station automatically uploads data of indoor and outdoor temperature and humidity from the base station to the server; and the APP can download data automatically from the server through the network.
