HomeSeer HS-ZWPB700 Z-Wave Interface Module
OVERVIEW
HS-ZWPB700 is a Z-Wave interface module that’s designed to send and receive
wireless
Z-Wave commands to and from compatible smart home products in the home. It is
to assemble to Raspberry Pi to act as a Z-Wave controller to control the
Z-Wave sensors and actuators. This module is designed in Z-Wave 700 series SiP
to adopt standard S2 and SmartStart native protocols.
INSTALLATION
- Install HS-ZWPB700 onto RaspBerry Pi via the 12-pin connector.
- Open SSH via Putty platform to connect RaspBarry Pi.
- Enter the user ,
- Enter your password,
- Enter the commands,
- sudo nano /boot/config.txt
- Add below line,
- dtoverlay=pi3-disable-bt
- enable_uart=1
- Exit the editor with Ctrl X and save with Y,
- Reboot the system,
- sudo reboot
- Login SSH again and enter the username & password,
- Check if the port ttyAMA0 is available with
- dmesg | grep tty
