Preparation for use
- Insert the two supplied AAA LR03 batteries into the remote control, paying attention to the correct polarity.
- Position the soundbar and the subwoofer on a stable, level surface near readily accessible power points (for information about wall mounting, see the user manual).
- Set up the subwoofer close to the soundbar to ensure there is no interference when the devices connect.
Connect television via HDMI ARC/HDMI eARC
- Set the volume on the television to a moderate level.
- Switch off the television and the soundbar.
- Connect the HDMI cable to the HDMI ARC/HDMI eARC 3 port of the soundbar.
- Connect the other end of the HDMI cable to the HDMI IN (ARC) port on your television.
- Turn on the ARC and CEC functions on your television and set the audio output format to PCM (Pulse Code Modulation)
Connecting the soundbar and subwoofer to mains power
- Ensure that all required devices are connected to the soundbar.
- Connect the supplied mains cord to the AC~ 2 socket on the soundbar and connect the other end to a readily accessible mains power point.
- Connect the supplied mains cord to the AC~ 1 socket on the subwoofer and connect the other end to a readily accessible mains power point.
Switch on soundbar
- Press the button on the remote control 5 or on the soundbar 4 to switch on the soundbar. The soundbar and subwoofer pair with one another automatically when started up for the first time.
