Safety Precautions

Note: Before using voice control you will need: Smart Life App & Account.
Amazon Alexa App & Account. Goolge Home App & Account.
Rename the device after configuring successfully. The name of the device is
recommended to use English words with easy pronunciation.
Install App
- Scan QR code below to download:http://e.tuya.com/smartlife
- Find the “Smart Life” App in Apple Store or Google Play. IOS 8.0 / Android 4.4 above.
Register
Enter the register/login interface, input the phone number to get the verification code, and register an account.
Connection
Easy Mode (Recommend)
- Please make sure the device has connected with electricity, then open the “Smart Life” App, tap the “ADD DEVICES” or the “4-‘1 at the upper right corner of the page and select “Power Strip” .
- Long press the On/Off button of the device for 5 seconds until the indicator light quickly flashes.
- Make sure the indicator light is flashing rapidly and confirm it in the App.
- Choose the local WiFi and enter the correct password.
- Wait for configuring successfully.
AP Mode
- Please change to “AP Mode” if the connection is failed in “Easy Mode”. The AP Mode is at the upper right corner of the “ADD DEVICES” page.
- Long press the On/Off button of the device until the indicator light slowly flashes and confirms it in the App.
- Choose the local WiFi and enter the correct password. Tap “Connect Now”, Choose WiFi hotspot name” SmartLife XXX”, then back to “Smart Life” App.
- Wait for configuring successfully.
Control with Alexa
- Choose “Skills” in the options bar and then search “Smart Life” in the search bar, find “Smart Life” click “Enable”.
- Input user name and password login.
- Alexa account link with “Smart Life” .
- Voice control Alexa: “Discover my devices”, or click “Discovery devices” in Alexa. Echo will start to find the devices which is added in “Smart Life”, it will take about 20sec to show the result.
- Users can use voice to control the device. “Alexa, turn on[device name]” “Alexa, turn off[device name]” device name must be consistent with the name in the “Smart Life” App.
Control with Google
- Tap “Home Control” on the home page menu of the Google Home app. Press the ” +” button.
- Choose “Smart life” in the list.
- Login to “Smart Life”, click “Link Now”.
- Assign the location of the device.
- The device will be listed on the Home Control page in the Google Home app.
- Now voice control. “OK, Google. Turn on[device name]” “OK, Google. Turn off[device name]”
