Important safety instructions
When using electrical appliances, basic safety precautions should always be followed to reduce the risk of fire, electric shock, or other injuries or damages. Please read all instructions before use.

Check that the voltage indicated on the appliance corresponds to the local power before you connect the appliance.

This appliance can be used by children aged 8 years and above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge, if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning the use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved.
Children shall not play with the appliance. Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children unless they are older than 8 and supervised. -
Keep the appliance and its cord out of reach of children less than 8 years.

DO NOT block the air inlet and outlet.

DO NOT place the appliance directly below an air conditioner to prevent condensation from dripping onto the appliance.

DO NOT use this appliance when you have used indoor smoke-type insect repellents or in places with oily residues, burning incense, or chemical fumes.

If the filter is protected by a polybag when shipped, remove it before use.

To avoid fire hazards, NEVER let the cord hang over the edge of a table, counter, or touch hot surfaces such as heaters, stoves, or radiators.

To protect against electrical hazards, DO NOT immerse the appliance in water or other liquids. DO NOT use the appliance in wet surroundings or in surroundings with high ambient temperatures, such as the bathroom, toilet, or kitchen, or in a room with major temperature changes.

Close supervision is necessary when any appliance is used by or near children, or disabled persons.

Always unplug the air purifier before moving or cleaning the unit, opening the grill, changing the filter, and whenever the unit is not in use. To disconnect the unit, make sure to pull from the plug and not the cord.

NEVER drop or insert any objects into the openings of the unit.

DO NOT operate any appliance with a damaged cord or plug. If the motor fan fails to operate or the unit has been dropped or damaged in any manner. Contact Sytech technical service department for examination and/or repair.

Use the appliance only for intended household use as described in this manual. Any other use not recommended by the manufacturer may cause fire, electric shock, or injury to persons. The use of attachments not recommended or sold by the manufacturer may cause hazards.

DO NOT use this product outdoors. THIS APPLIANCE IS FOR HOUSEHOLDS ONLY.

NEVER place the air purifier on a soft surface such as a bed or sofa as this could cause the unit to tip over and block the air inlet or outlet grills.

Keep the unit away from heated surfaces and open flames.

DO NOT attempt to repair or adjust any electrical or mechanical functions on this unit. Doing so will void your warranty. The inside of the unit contains no user serviceable parts. All servicing should be performed by an authorized dealer.

DO NOT place any object on top of the unit.

NEVER use detergents, gasoline, glass purifier, furniture polish, paint thinner, or other household solvents to clean any part of the appliance.

Always turn the appliance off before unplugging it.

This appliance should only be used in rooms with temperatures between 5ºC and 45ºC.

WARNING: To reduce the risk of fire or electric shock, DO NOT use the appliance with external power strips or external speed control device.

Only use the original Artico filter especially intended for this appliance. Do not use any other filters. Save these instructions for future use.
WELCOME
Congratulations on your purchase of the Artico Air purifier SY-PA300. In order
to fully benefit from this product, please follow the instructions in this
user manual very carefully. Store this user manual in a safe place for future
reference.

Before first use
The filter is protected by a polybag when shipped, remove it before use.
Placing the filters
The Air purifier comes with the filter fitted inside. Simply unlock the base
cover and remove the filter which is packed in its polybag. Unpack the filter
and place it back into its place as described below:
Note: Make sure you insert the filter in the correct position.

Place the appliance upside down on a soft cloth to avoid scratching, to open the base cover, you need to find an arrow point on the base cover corresponding to the LOCK position, rotate the base cover counterclockwise from LOCK to OPEN position to release the lock.

Remove the base cover and take out the filter.

Remove the packaging material from the filter.

Insert the filter back into the appliance.

Rotate the base cover clockwise from an OPEN position to LOCK position, you will hear a “click” sound, the base cover is now locked.
Using the appliance
4.1. About the control panel
• For optimum purification performance, close doors, and windows.

Connect the plugin to the wall socket All lights will turn on once and a beep sound will be heard.
The lights will go off again. -
Press the power button to switch on the appliance.
The power and the fan speed 2 lights (Medium level) will turn on. -
Fan speed adjustment The fan speed light indicates at which fan speed the appliance is operating.
Press the Speed button to adjust the fan speed level. There are three levels 1~3 which refer to (1. Low, 2. Medium, 3. High). -
Sleep mode Press the button to activate the sleep mode. When you use the air purifier in sleep mode, it will operate very quietly.
Press any of the buttons to switch off the sleep mode except the Filter and Timer buttons.
Ambient Light
When you turn on the air purifier, the panel will light up and then cycle to random colors automatically. The panel includes 7 lighting modes.
- Press the light button to select the random lighting mode.
- Press a second time to select a specific light color.
- Press a third time to off the light
In standby mode (night light mode)
- In standby mode, press the light button to activate the amber light mode.
- Press the light button once more to decrease the light effect to half its brightness.
- Press the light button for the third time to off the light completely.
Setting timer
- Press the timer button to turn on or off the timer options.
- You can select 3 timer options: 2, 4, or 8 hours.
- The air purifier will automatically power off once the time has elapsed.
Note: to cancel the timer at any time, simply unplug the cable or press the timer button.
Filter replacement light
When the filter indicator lights up, this means the filter needs to be
checked.
The first option is to clean the filter. Take out the filter and clean it (do
not wash).
Place the filter back in its compartment and check if the filter light is no
longer on.
If not, you must replace the filter.
Note: The filters’ lifetime is based on the environment air quality and
usage time.
Using the appliance in a humid environment will reduce the lifetime of the
HEPA13 filter.
For optimal purification performance, close the doors and windows.
4.2. Cleaning the air purifier
Regularly clean the inside and outside of the unit to prevent dust from
collecting.
- Wipe away the dust with a soft dry cloth from the body of the appliance.
- Clean the air inlet and the air outlet with a soft dry cloth.
- Remove dust and hair trapped inside the purifier with a vacuum cleaner.
- Always unplug the appliance before cleaning it.
- Never immerse the appliance in water or any other liquid.
- Never use aggressive or flammable cleaning agents such as bleach or alcohol.
- The HEPA13 filter is not washable.
Filter Replacement
When Should I Replace the Air Filter?
It is recommended to change the air filter every 6 to 8 months.
However, you may need to change your filter sooner or later depending on how
often you use your air purifier.
It is important to watch out for the following signs of expired filter:
- Increased operating noise
- Decreased airflow
- Clogged filter
- The increased presence of odors
Note:
- The environment in which the air purifier is being used may also extend or shorten the lifetime of the air filter. Using your air purifier in an environment of relatively high pollution may mean you will need to change the air filter more often.
- If the air pollution in your environment is very high, there is a possibility that the filters may not be completely effective and may need to be replaced before the indicator lights up
- Remember to reset the air purifier after changing the air filter.

Switch off the appliance and unplug it. (a)

Place the appliance upside down on a soft cloth to avoid scratching. Rotate the cover base counterclockwise from the LOCK position to the OPEN position (b).

Insert the new filter back into its compartment. (e)

Rotate the base cover clockwise from an OPEN position to LOCK position, you will hear a “click” sound, the base cover is blocked. (f)

Connect the plugin to the wall socket and switch on the appliance again. (g)

Reset filters lifetime.
If after replacing the new filter, the indicator lights up, you should reset the filter life.
1). Plug in the air purifier and turn it on.
2). Press and hold the button for 3 seconds. (h)
3). Release the button after 3 seconds and the light will turn off.
4). The reset is now complete.
Filter replacement force mode
When using the air purifier in an environment of heavy pollution, the lifespan
of the air filter may significantly reduce.
You can change the filters even if do not light up. Follow the steps below to
perform a hard reset.
1). Replace the air filters as mentioned in the Filter Replacement section (5).
2). Plug in the air purifier and let it be in standby mode.
3). Press and hold the button for 3 seconds. The indicator will light up.
4). Press and hold the button for 3 seconds again and the indicator will turn
off. The reset is now complete.
Storage
- Turn off and unplug the air purifier from the electrical outlet.
- Clean the air purifier and the filter surface (see the chapter on “Cleaning and maintenance.)
- Allow all parts to dry thoroughly before storing.
- Put the filter in an airtight plastic bag.
- Store the air purifier and filter in a cool, dry place
- Always wash your hands thoroughly after handling the filters.
Environment
This symbol means that this product shall not be disposed of with normal
household waste (2012/19/EU).
Follow your country’s rule for the separate collection of electrical and
electronic products.
Correct disposal helps prevent negative consequences for the environment and
human health.
Troubleshooting
This chapter summarizes the most common problems you could encounter with the
appliance.
If you are unable to solve the problem with the information below, contact
Artico technical service center for a proper solution.

In automatic mode, the appliance will automatically adjust the fan speed to
save maximum energy.
Sleep mode has started automatically, the LED indicator turns off, while the
fan speed and noise level are also reduced.| Press the fan speed button and
choose the desired fan speed.
The Pre-filter is too dirty.| Please clean up the Pre-filter.
The filter has not been replaced.| Replace with a new filter.
Insufficient space and ventilation in the surroundings.| Make sure there is at
least 15 inches (38 cm) of free space in all directions around the purifier.
The fan speed does not change to automatic mode.| The air quality sensor is
humid, or the ambient temperature is too high, causing condensation on the
sensor.
| Make sure the air quality sensor is clean and dry.
Poor performance| The room area is too large.| Use the air purifier in a
smaller room.
The air inlet or outlet of the appliance is blocked.| Clean the air inlet and
outlet and remove any obstructions.
Too noisy| The filter’s plastic packaging hasn’t been removed.| The plastic
packaging of the filter must be removed before use.
The color of the air quality indicator always remains the same.| The air
quality sensor is dirty.| Clean the air quality sensor.
| Indoor air ventilation is poor.| Open the window and improve air
ventilation.
After replacing the filter, the filter replacement indicator light still
flashes.| The filter lifetime has not been reset correctly.| Check the manual
“Reset Filter’s lifetime”.
