G21 H20CF Digital Hotel Safe

Please do not keep the emergency key in the safe!

Initial Use

1. Find the emergency keys in the accessories’ bag.
2. Remove the emergency lock cover.
3. Insert the emergency key, press gently and turn it anticlockwise or clockwise to open the door.
4. To close the door, you can turn the key to 12 o’clock direction.

Insert the batteries

Insert 4×1.5V batteries into the battery box.

CAUTION:
Replace 4 fresh batteries by lining them up in a manner as indicated by the „+” and „-” signs.

Setting User Code

Original Code: 123456.
With the door open, input 3-6 digits, then press „#“ to confirm, the door will be secured automatically. The 3-6 inputted digits is the new user code.

Setting Master Code

1. Original master code: 888888
2. With the door closed, input the original master code and press „#“ to enter setting process.
3. Input your new master code (6 digits) and press „#” within counting of 5 seconds.
4. And then input your new master code again, press „#” to confirm, it will show „DONE”, that means the setting is successful.

Opening and Closing the Door

1. Method 1: input correct user code and press „#“ to confirm, the door will open and LCD shows „open”. Press „#” to close the door, LCD display will show „closed”.
2. Method 2: input the correct master code and press „#“ to confirm, waiting until the counting of 5 seconds is finished, the door will open automatically. Press „ # ” to secure the door, LCD shows „close”, when finished securing, it will show „closed”.
3. Method 3: use emergency key

CAUTION
Change the batteries when the screen displays „LO-BATTE”.

Three continuously wrong entries, the screen will display „HOLD5”, the digital lock system will be locked for 5 minutes.

Date and Time settings
With the door open, input „ **200110 ”, and then input digit to set date. (Year „YE–”, month „ON–”, day „DA–”, hour „HO–”, minute „IN–”, second „SE–”

For example: Jan. 1st, 2013. AM 08:10:09 (ye13, on01, da01,ho08, in10, se09)

CAUTION: When the display shows „GOOD’’, it means the setting is successfully.

Record Checking
It is possible to check the latest 105 records.

1. With the door open, input „ **200118 ”, the screen will show „RECORD’’.
2. First line shows the opening number and method, for example: 001U, 001 is opening number,„ U’’ is opening method („U“ means user code, „E’’ means emergency key, „G’’ means master code)
3. After three seconds, it will enter the second line. It shows the date, such as 130101 means 01st, Jan. 2013.
4. After another three seconds, third line will show automatically. It shows the time, such as 081009 means 08am, 10:09.

CAUTION: Press number 4 to next line, press number 6 to go back for previous line.

Others

1. Battery check: while the door is closed, press #, it shows „Hi-BAT” means high battery. „LO–BAT” means low battery, please change the battery.
2. Hidden function: press * before input the code, the display show only —- instead of digital code.
3. Delete: any wrong input can be deleted by pressing „ * ”.
4. If the code you input is wrong, it will shows „error”.
5. If you open the door with emergency key, please pull out the key as soon as possible, it will increase power consumption if long time no recovery for lock status. After using emergency key to open door, the code will return to factory set.
