Foreword
Thank you for purchasing RT Series Studio Flash Trigger. It is a control discreteness for camera to trigger studio flashlight synchronously. The device is composed of two parts, namely signal transmitter and receiver.

To prevent damage to the product or injury to you or to others, read the following safety precautions in their entirety before using this equipment. Keep these safety instructions where users can read them for ready reference.
Do not disassemble or modify
Failure to observe this precaution could result in electric shock or product
malfunction. Should the product break open as the result of a fall or other
accident, remove the batteries and take the product to authorized maintenance
center for inspection.
Keep dry
Do not handle with wet hands or immerse in or expose to water or rain. Failure
to observe this precaution could result in fire or electric shock.
Keep out of the reach of children
This device contains small parts that may pose a choking hazard. Consult a
physician immediately if a child swallows any part of this device.
Do not expose to high temperature
Do not leave the device in a closed vehicle under the sun or in other areas
subject to extremely high temperature. Failure to observe this precaution
could result in fire or damage to the casing or internal parts.

Batteries and Installation
Transmitter: Slide the battery-chamber cover from the back of the transmitter
and insert one 12V/23A battery (provided by manufacturer)
Receiver: Slide the battery-chamber cover from the back of the receiver and
insert two AAA 1.5V alkaline batteries (available separately).
Low Battery Indicator
LED indicator on receiver will blink fast when the batteries are low. Please
change batteries before they run down in case of flash failure or flash
missing.
Replacing Batteries
When replacing batteries on transmitter or receiver
- Turn the camera off and disconnect the receiver
- Remove the batteries with new ones
When the device is not in use
- The transmitter consumes little power and can last over three years when it is in spare without any operation.
- The receiver is equipped with a power on/off switch. To reduce the drain on the batteries when the device is not in use, please slide the power to OFF position.
Channel Settings
There are16 channels in this device. Set the transmitter and receiver on the same channel before use. Check the table for channel setting as below:

Instructions for Use
Function Introduction
RT Series Studio Flash Trigger is based on a wireless remote system. The transmitter enjoys an advanced electric circuit which is designed with sleepy function, so it has very low power consumption. The receiver is used with alternating current, and it achieves quick response under the advanced MCU control. It can meet the need of sync flash for any different shutter camera.
Connection

Insert the trig output plug (1) of the receiver into the synch control socket of the strobe.

Turn on the power switch (3) of the receiver.
Operation
-
Adjust the same state for the channel code switch (4) (6) for the transmitter and receiver.

Press the test button (5), and the transmitter indicator lamp
(9) and the receiving indicator lamp (2) will turn red. Simultaneously the strobe will flash to work. -
Attach the transmitter onto the camera hot shoe mount and press the camera shutter for instant using(corresponding function setting is required for camera).

If the camera has no Hot Shoe Jack, insert one end of the synchronous line into the Socket for Synchronous Line (8) and the other end into the Synchronous jack of the camera.

Attentions
- Unable to trigger flash or camera shutter. Make sure the transmitter and receiver are set to the same channel, and the PC cord or the hot shoe mount is completely connected.
- Signal disturbance or shooting interference. Change different channel on the device. Operating distance limited or flash missing. Check if the battery is exhausted. Try to change the battery.
- Keep away from strong magnetic field. The strong static or magnetic field produced by devices such as radio transmitter leads to malfunction.
Maintenance

Avoid falling
The device may malfunction after strong shocks or under excess stress. -
Keep dry
The production isn’t water-proof. It will lead to malfunction if soaked in water or exposed in high humidity, which cause malfunction and rust, corrosion. -
Avoid sudden temperature changes
such as the circumstance when taking the remote control out of a building with higher temperature to outside in winter. This may lead to condensation of moisture. Please put the remote control in handbag or plastic bag to prevent sudden temperature changes.
