Preparation
Preparing a Power Supply

Using the AC Adaptor
Connect the AC adaptor as shown in the illustration on the right.- Make sure that you use only the AC adaptor specified for this Digital Keyboard

Using Batteries
Load six AA-size batteries.

Specify the battery type.
See “Configuring Function Settings” on the reverse side of this sheet. Computer, smartphone, etc. (commercially available) -
Connect using a USB cable that is no more than two meters long.
Basic Operation
Playing with a Lyric Tone (Vocal Synthesis)

Light the LYRICS LED. This enables Lyric Tone so that the lyrics are advanced and sounded while keyboard keys are pressed.

To select Lyric Tone and then use the knobs to change the tone

- To change how lyric advancement is performed when one or more keyboard keys are pressed
PHRASE: Lyrics advance while a keyboard key is held down.
NOTE: Each press of a keyboard key advances one lyric syllable.
- To change how lyric advancement is performed when one or more keyboard keys are pressed

To change the voice used to sound lyrics (Vocalist)
To use keyboard keys to control Lyric Tone

- Play your performance on the keyboard in combination with the Lyric Tone controller keyboard.
Playing with an Instrument Tone
- Light the INSTRUMENT LED.
- To select an Instrument Tone
To change the keyboard’s high-range and low-range tones

3 Select a tone for the keyboard’s low range.
To play with two layered tones -
- Select the tone you want to layer.
To play with Touch Response

- OFF: No Touch Response.
LIGHT: Louder notes with lighter touch than
NORMAL.
NORMAL : Normal Touch Response.
HEAVY: Louder notes require a heavier touch than NORMAL.
- OFF: No Touch Response.

To play with sustain
To sound arpeggio phrases automatically

- Enable the arpeggiator.
- Select a type.

- K1 knob: Cut off (initial default)
- K2 knob: Resonance (initial default)
- K3 knob: Modulation (initial default)
- While a Lyric Tone is being used, the knobs are assigned special Lyric Tone settings.
