Rear seat entertainment
This quick start guide explains the operating elements and the most important functions of your BYOC RSE SYSTEM. You can obtain more detailed information by calling up the integrated online help screens.
Read and observe the enclosed safety instructions in all cases to ensure that the device can be used in a safe manner.

Switching on and operating the device
- Make sure the device is connected to the power source, the device will automatically turn on when the car starts.
- After switching on for the first time, select the country-specific settings matching your requirements.
- Briefly tap on the symbols of the screen in order to open the separate areas.
- When the power is turned off, the device will automatically turn off.

Using in the Vehicle
DANGER
Use the device in the vehicle only in the holder intended for this purpose. The device may only be installed and operated in such vehicles so that the driver cannot be distracted.
When removing the BYOC RSE SYSTEM from the holder when traveling or when the engine is running, a warning message appears on the screen.
ATTENTION!
Children in the passenger compartment in reboard position: Remove the BYOC RSE
SYSTEM as well as the corresponding holder from the backrest of the front seat
– Risk of injury.

Information on troubleshooting
The device cannot be switched on
The rechargeable battery is empty – Using the adjacent options specified,
charge the rechargeable battery and switch it on again.
No volume
The volume is at 0 – Increase the volume.
Playing back has been interrupted – Continue playback or restart.
Films / photos / music files / applications are not displayed as
expected
The file format is not supported – The playback formats are specified in the
online help.
The data carrier cannot be read – Check the correct connection and read again.
Symbols have been deleted – Add the symbol (e.g., an App) back to the desired
area.
Please note that Apps can be loaded only for landscape mode.
For questions arising, consult the online help or contact your dealer or local BYOC RSE SYSTEM Partner in case you cannot find a solution.
