SAFETY
- By ignoring the safety instructions the manufacturer cannot be held responsible for the damage.
- The appliance must be placed on a stable, level surface.
Batteries
- Do not expose the battery to high temperatures or direct sunlight. Never throw batteries into the fire. There is a danger of an explosion!
- Keep batteries away from children. They are not a toy!
- Do not open the batteries by force.
- Avoid contact with metallic objects.(Rings, nails, screws et cetera)there is a danger of short-circuiting!
- As a result of short-circuit, batteries may heat up considerably or even catch fire. this may result in burns.’
- For your safety, the battery poles should be covered with adhesive strips during transport.
- If battery leaks, do not rub your eyes with your hands. If in contact with the liquid, the hands should be washed thoroughly and eyes rinsed out with clear water, if symptoms persist please consult a doctor.
- Do not ingest battery, risk of Chemical Burn Hazard
- This product contains a coin/button cell battery. If the coin/button cell battery is swallowed, it can cause severe burns in just 2 hours and can lead to death.
- Keep new and used batteries away from children.
- If the battery compartment does not close securely stop using the product and keep it away from children.
- If you think batteries might have been swallowed or placed inside any part of the body, seek immediate medical attention.
BEFORE THE FIRST USE
- Take the appliance and accessories out the box. Remove the stickers, protective foil or plastic from the device.
- Always weigh/use the scale on a hard and flat surface. When you are measuring, please keep still.
- It is advisable to take measurements at the same time of the day and at the same place.
- Always remove your shoes and socks, it is advisable to discard as much as possible clothing, wipe clean your feet before using and dry them well. Never use the appliance with wet feet.
- Step on the weighing platform gently and when you are measuring, please keep still.
- Select with the little knob aside the battery holder the weight measuring unit KG, LB or ST.
USE
- Stand on the scale. The scale will turn on automatically.
- Always stand in the centre of the platform.
- Within seconds, personal weight is established electronically and displayed.
- Once you step off the scale after weighting, it will switch itself off automatically after a few seconds.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
- Do not immerse the appliance in wateror any other liquid.
- Clean the appliance with a damp cloth. Never use harsh and abrasive cleaners, scouring pad or steel wool, which damages the appliance.

To avoid overheating as a result of a short circuit, lithium batteries must be removed from the product and the poles must be protected using insulation tape or some other means against short-circuiting.
