Instructions, videos and help can be found at: http://bit.ly/airspansupport
Required Items
- Airspan N5-X series antenna
- Minimum 10 AWG (5.26 mm2) ground cable with pre-terminated ring terminal
- Airspan Gigabit NID
- Small flat head type screwdriver
- Power over Ethernet injector compatible with B5x input power specifications
Attach Antenna
Mount the antenna by clockwise twisting into the radio threaded collar. Hand tighten until the O-ring seal is seated in the collar.
Make sure the indicator dot on the antenna is aligned with the B5x set screw as shown in the diagram below, then tighten the set screw.
If you are using the B5x standalone without an antenna, remove the set screw to allow drainage of any accumulated moisture in the threaded area.
Mount
Using 2 hose clamp type pole straps, attach the B5x to desired mounting pole. If elevation adjustment is needed, a Mimosa Fleximount or J-Mount is suggested.
Grounding
Attach ground wire (not included) to the integrated grounding screw.
Connect Ethernet
Connect a shielded CAT6/6A Ethernet cable (not included) to the device, inserting it through the M25 cable sealing gland components and tighten as shown in the diagram below.
