WARNINGS

  1. This device is intended for household, indoor and dry use only.
  2. This device can be used by children aged from 8 years and above as well as by persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the device in a safe way and understand the hazards involved. Children shall not play with the appliance. Cleaning and user maintenance should not be done by children unless they are older than 8 and supervised.
  3. Keep the device and its cord out of reach of children less than 8 years old.
  4. Plug in power supply that corresponds to the rated one on product/charger only. In case of misusage power supply or device failure may occur.
  5. This device is equipped with a grounded plug. Please ensure the wall outlet in your house is well earthed.
  6. If the power cable is damaged, it must be replaced immediately by authorized or similar qualified person in order to avoid a hazard.
  7. Avoid the use of extension cords or multi-socket outlets as they may overheat and cause a risk of fire.
  8. Under no circumstances should other high-current appliances be plugged into the same power supply.
  9. This device should never be switched on or stay plugged in power supply when not in use, while replacing accessories or during cleaning.
  10. The surfaces are liable to get hot during use.
  11. Do not attempt any modification or repair by yourself and ensure that any repair is conducted only by an appropriately qualified technician.
  12. Do not immerse any part of the appliance in water or other liquid.
  13. This device should never operate empty (except before first use), because such action could result in appliance failure and/or injuries to the user.
  14. Never immerse the main unit, which contains electrical components and heating elements, in water nor rinse under the tap.
  15. Do not let any water or other liquid enter the appliance to prevent electric shock.
  16. Always put the ingredients to be fried in the basket, to prevent it from coming into contact with the heating elements.
  17. Never cover the air inlet and the air outlet openings. .
  18. Do not fill the pan with oil as this may cause a fire hazard.
  19. Never touch the inside of the appliance while it is operating or just ended to operate.
  20. Keep the power cable away from hot surfaces.
  21. Before use, place the product on hard, flat, stable, dry and heat resistant surface.
  22. Clean and dry thoroughly before first use.
  23. Please refer to below paragraphs for details on cleaning, operating times, settings and accessories.
  24. Slight odors are possible at beginning of usage until device reaches its thermal stability.
  25. This device is not intended to be operated by means of an external timer or separate remote-control system.
  26. Oversize food, metal foil packages or utensils must not be inserted in the device as they may cause fire or electric shock.
  27. During hot air frying, hot steam is released through the air outlet openings. Keep your hands and face at a safe distance from the steam and from the air outlet openings. Also be careful of hot steam and air when you remove the basket from the appliance.
  28. The heating element surface is subject to residual heat after use.
  29. immediately unplug the appliance if you see dark smoke coming out of the appliance. Wait for the smoke emission to stop before you remove the basket from the appliance.
  30. If the device is not working as it should, has received a sharp blow, has been dropped, damaged, left outdoors or dropped into water, do not use it.
  31. Please pay attention to scald where there is a high temperature symbol.
  32. Although the product has been checked its usage and consequences are strictly user responsibility.

Before use

  1. Remove all packaging material any stickers or labels (except rating label) from the device.
  2. Wipe the main unit with a soft damp cloth and dry thoroughly.
  3. Grab the handle, push the frying bowl release slider forward with your thumb and pull the frying bowl out from main unit. Remove the frying basket by pressing the basket release button, before lifting it from the frying bowl.
  4. Clean the device (please refer to the “Cleaning and maintenance” section).
  5. Place the air fryer main unit on to a stable, heat-resistant surface, at a height that is comfortable for use.
  6. The device should be placed so that the power cable has a sufficient length to be plugged into the socket, and the air around the product should be kept in circulation, and should not be close to flammable items.

NOTE: Before first use: plug the device into power supply and turn ON the empty(!) device (by pressing menu button once followed by pressing start/pause button) to run it for approximately 10 min – this will prevent the initial smoke or odor from affecting the taste of the food. When using the air fryer for the first time, a slight smoke or odour may be emitted. This is normal and will soon subside. Allow for sufficient ventilation around the air fryer during use.

Usage

  1. BASKET+BOWL: Attach the handle to the frying basket by sliding it on, before putting the basket into frying bowl (see PICTURES, Pic. 3a).
    NOTE: You can remove the handle from the basket by pressing the handle remove button (red). (see: PICTURES, Pic. 3b)

  2. BOWL: Attach the handle to the frying bowl by inserting it in the bowl. (see: PICTURES, Pic. 3c).
    NOTE: You can remove the handle from the bowl by pressing the frying basket release button (black).

  3. Push the frying (basket+) bowl into the main unit (see PICTURES, Pic 4).

  4. Plug the device into power supply – a “beep” sound is heard and “b” symbol (for “basket” mode) is shown on display. “Frying bowl” mode can be chosen by pressing and holding the temperature/timer button for 2 seconds (“F” symbol shown on display).

  5. It is advised to allow the device to preheat (which is default setting for any program/mode). Do not add food at this point yet.

  6. Press the blinking menu button to select the chosen cooking mode and press start/pause button to start the pre-set program – “ON” is displayed.*. You can check and set the tempera-ture or cooking time by pressing the temperature/timer button: At first press, the temperature starts to blink notifying that it can be set with – or + buttons. To set the cooking time press the temperature/timer button again (time starts to blink) and set it by – or + buttons. Confirm your settings and start the program by pressing start/pause button – “ON” is displayed.

  7. Settings can be changed at any time by pressing the temperature/timer button and re-setting them with – or + buttons, before confirming them by pressing start/pause button.
    NOTE: Programs can be paused at any time by pressing start/pause button or stop by pressing and holding the same button for 3 seconds.

  8. After preheating time the device will notify the user that it is ready for the food to be added by short emitting “beep” sound and “Add” shown on display.

  9. Hold the top of the device with one hand, and with the other hand pull the basket/bowl out. Place the basket/bowl on a stable heat-resistant surface.

  10. Put the ingredients either in the basket (if basket mode is chosen) or frying bowl (if bowl mode is chosen). .

  11. Put the frying basket/bowl back into the main unit to start the cooking (timer dots will start flashing on the display).
    Note: If the basket/bowl is not thoroughly pushed into the main unit, the device will not start.

  12. After half of the time has elapsed the device will beep 3 times and the display will show ˝turn˝, indicating that you can pull out the frying basket/bowl and stir/turn the food, then reposition frying basket/bowl to continue with the cooking mode.
    NOTE: The “turn” indication will blink for 10 seconds to allow stir/turn the food. If this step is not done it will continue with the set program automatically.

  13. When the time elapses, the device will enter the stand-bymode and indicate the end of the program by beeping (display will show ˝b˝ or ˝F˝ – depending of the chosen mode).

  14. Unplug the device, carefully remove the frying basket/bowl and place it on a flat heat-resistant surface.
    NOTES: Be careful, as heat and steam may cause scalds. It is recommended to use extra utensils (not included) to remove food from the basket. Alternately pour out the food by turning the frying basket/bowl. Shut off memory: The device will keep the last chosen program/mode function for 10 mintes even in case of power loss.

Cleaning and maintenance

Always turn off the device before cleaning

  1. Please regularly clean the device to preserve its optimum performance.
  2. After using, please clean the frying basket and bowl immediately to avoid residue oil getting stuck to them.
  3. Do not use strong abrasive cleaners to prevent damage to the device.
  4. Use a soft, clean cloth to wipe the main unit. If needed damp (not wet) cloth can be used.
  5. None of the parts is dishwasher safe.
  6. Use mild detergent and clean water to clean the frying basket and bowl.
  7. Do not use hard and sharp items (such as wire balls, blades, etc.) to clean any part of device.
  8. Store clean and thoroughly dried device in dry place without direct sunlight.

Troubleshooting

Fried snacks are not crispy when they come out of the air fryer.| Preparing food that needs to be prepared in a traditional deep fryer.| Use appropriate snacks or lightly brush some oil onto such food for a crispier result.
Bowl cannot be slided into the device properly.| There are too much ingredients in the basket.| Do not overfill the basket, refer to the chapter “USAGE”.
The basket is not placed in the bowl correctly.| Push the basket down into the bowl until you hear a click.
White smoke comes out of the device.| The ingredients are too greasy.| When greasy ingredients are fried, large amount of oil will leak into the bowl producing smoke.. This does not affect the device or the end result.
The bowl still contains grease residues from previous use.| Make sure you clean the bowl and basket properly after each use.
Fresh potato fries are fried unevenly| Wrong potato type used.| Use fresh fries from potato for frying purposes.
Potato sticks not rinsed before frying.| Rinse the potato sticks properly to remove starch from the surface of the sticks.


Fresh fries are not crispy

| Make sure you dry the potato sticks properly before you add the oil.
Cut the potato sticks smaller for a crispier result.
Add slightly more oil for a crispier result.
