RSE AVH-P3300BT Double Din Multi-Media System

Installation

This unit is designed for 10-16.8V negative ground operation system only. Before installing this unit make sure your vehicle is connected to 10-16.8V negative grounded electrical system.
The negative battery terminal must be disconnected before making connections, this will reduce the risk of damage from a short circuit.
Ensure you connect the colour-coded leads as per the diagram. If you connect these incorrectly if may cause the unit to malfunction or damage the vehicles electrical system.
Ensure you connect the negative speaker leads to the negative speaker terminal and never connect the left and right channel speaker cable to each other or the vehicle body. Do not block any vents or radiator panels as this could cause heat to build up and may result in a fire.
After you have completed the installation of this unit including reconnecting the battery, press the reset button once on the front panel with a pointed object (ballpoint pen) to set the unit to initial status.

Frame Button Description

  • PWR: Long press power on/off
  • MUTE: Turn off sound
  • VOL+: Volume up
  • VOL-: Volume down
  • Menu button
  • BAND: Short press is Radio transition, press for selection of FM1, FM2, FM3, AM1, AM2. Long press for 3 seconds to come into the screen touch calibration interface
  • MIC: Microphone
  • AUX: AUX In
  • USB: USB port
  • SD: SD port
  • IR: Remote control sensor
  • RES: Reset button, factory default
  • Eject disc

Main Menu

Slide the screen to the left and right below the top line to access the next menu page. Touch the desired icon to enter.

Radio

  • To return to the main menu press the backwards arrow in the top corner
  • Short touch on the left and right arrows will move you to the next frequency
  • Long touch on the left and right arrows will enter manual search
  • To switch to FM1, FM2, FM3, AM1 and AM2 press the FM1 Button on the left

To set Pre-set Station:
Once you have searched for the preferred station press the icon position down the bottom, hold until preferred station appears. Continue to set all stations to desired icons.

Playing Disc
From the Home Menu select the disc icon.
Slide the screen to the left of right from the bottom toolbar to access the next toolbar.

Bluetooth Operation

NOTE: Due to different brands of devices using different Bluetooth modules and software, some features may be different and some devices may not be compatible with this unit.
To connect your device for the first time please ensure Bluetooth is enabled on your device. Select the Handsfree icon on the main menu and then search for your device name in the list and select to pair with it.
If a code is required it will be 0000 or 1234.
Once paired successfully the Bluetooth Icon will be shown in blue at the top of the screen and the icon on the left hand side will change to green.
Once connected you can make and receive phone calls and play music.
When the Bluetooth Icon is green this means it is connected
To disconnect and reconnect touch this icon

Phone Calling Instructions

Phone Calls

This icon will take you to the Phone page
This icon will update the incoming call records from your phone
This icon will update the outgoing call records from your phone
This icon will update the dismissed call records from your phone
Touch this icon to make a phone call

Phone Dialling

This icon will take you to the Dial page
Backspace
Once you have entered the phone number, press this icon to dial out When you have an incoming call,
press this icon to answer the call Press this icon to hang up or reject a call
This icon will transfer the sound between the phone and radio

Phone Book

This icon will take you to the Phone Book page
Press this icon to upload your phone book
Last page
Next page
Once you have entered the phone number, press this icon to dial out
When you have an incoming call, press this icon to answer the call

Phone Music
On the Home menu, touch “Streaming” to enter the Bluetooth Phone Music.

System Setting

Under the main menu select the Settings icon to enter the settings menu. From here you may alter:

  • Area
  • Language
  • Front Camera
  • Rear Camera
  • Headlamp Detection
  • Brake Detection
  • Subwoofer
  • Key Beep

Mirror Link

Mirror Link is designed for Android systems. Use a connection cable to connect the phone to the unit for music, movies and photos. You can operate the phone via the screen display, and operate the screen display via the phone.
Note: When using Mirror Link to play music and videos from your mobile phone, please connect the phone via Bluetooth first so you can hear the sound.
