What is Westman InfiniTV?
Westman InfiniTV is designed to simplify your life by making your TV smarter
and accessing entertainment easier. You can now enjoy Westman Live TV, Video
on Demand (VOD), and your streaming entertainment like Crave, Disney+, Amazon
Prime Video and Westman GO Apps in one place.
Select GO apps available for download on your streaming entertainment service. How do I get Westman InfiniTV?
The easiest way to get Westman InfiniTV is by visiting our website by clicking
here. You can fill out a form at the bottom of the page to sign up today! The
Westman InfiniTV set-top box is owned by Westman Communications Group and
rented to you month-by-month. Note, that InfiniTV is currently only available
in select locations.
What can I expect after I order Westman InfiniTV?
An appointment will be set up with you to get your InfiniTV set-top box
installed in your house within the next 3-7 business days, based on
availability! One of our friendly Technicians will come and install it in your
house for you and walk you through the important steps and features to
successfully use your box and getting the most out of the ultimate TV
experience.
What content is available on Westman InfiniTV?
You will have access to enjoy Westman Live TV, Video on Demand, and your
streaming entertainment such as YouTube, Amazon Prime Video, Crave, Disney+,
and select Westman GO apps.
What storage packages are available with Westman InfiniTV DVRs?
We have two DVR storage packages available for you. There is an option to
record up to 150 hours or 350 hours.
Why do I need Westman’s High-Speed Internet to get InfiniTV from Westman?
We need to ensure your Internet connection is fast, reliable and secure. By
providing that connection, we’ll be able to offer a better-quality experience.
We will also be able to diagnose and provide a timely resolution to any
problem that might occur.
Will I be using my subscribed Internet bandwidth to watch live TV?
Your live TV will not be using your Westman Internet bandwidth that you are
subscribed to unless you are streaming apps (Amazon Prime Video, Crave, etc.)
If I cancel Westman InfiniTV, will I lose my Internet service?
No, canceling your Westman InfiniTV doesn’t affect your Internet service.
Although, you will be required to return your InfiniTV set-top box(s).
Is Westman InfiniTV a Whole Home solution?
Yes. The InfiniTV Whole Home experience extends throughout your home so you
can easily stream, record, share and access your entire library of
entertainment from any room in your home! You can add two, three or more set-
top boxes for your bedroom, kitchen, den or basement , and the Whole Home
experience is complete! It is the easiest way to stream content in real-time
from room to room and record programming the whole household will enjoy.
How is Westman InfiniTV different from TiVo?
The future is here; you can now enjoy your streaming services, Westman Live
TV, VOD, and Westman GO Apps in one location! You no longer need to get
frustrated looking for the right input, switching back and forth, or buying a
second streaming device; it is all right there waiting for you! As well, you
will now have the ability to use the Restart and Lookback feature on select
channels, so even if you forgot to record a show, it is no big deal! If you
are recording shows, you don’t have a limit on the number of shows you can
record at once!
Ever get frustrated trying to keep all the cords neat and tidy behind the
TV?
You won’t have to with an InfiniTV wireless set-top box! You can also take it
to any room in the house with a TV and easily enjoy your shows!
How many InfiniTV set-top boxes can I have in my house?
We want to help you create the perfect home with the perfect amount of
InfiniTV boxes in your house. You can get up to five InfiniTV set-top boxes in
your house!
What is Google Assistant?
You can control your InfiniTV box with your voice; the Google Assistant will
already be set up during the initial installation of your InfiniTV box. To
access your Google Assistant, press the Google Assistant button (once) on the
top right of your remote and wait for the prompt to appear at the bottom left
hand side.

How do I get to the features bar to appear on the Westman InfiniTV app?
To access the features bar on your InfiniTV app, you will simply need to press
the My TV button and it will display on the left-hand side of your screen.
What is My InfiniTV?
This will give you a poster art layout of all the popular programming you have
access to. My InfiniTV gives you a visually rich layout, with different
selections such as Continue Watching, Most Watched On Demand, and Live TV
Recommendations. It is an easier way to navigate your channel guide in a more
modern form.
How do I get to my Live TV Guide?
On the InfiniTV app features bar, select “Live TV Guide” to display your
InfiniTV guide. The grid-style TV guide displays channel numbers show titles,
and the network to make it easy to find your favorite TV show or movie.
Can you fast-forward/rewind Live Shows?
You can’t fast-forward/rewind live shows on TV.
Will my channel time out?
All Live TV will time out after 3 hours if there is no user interaction, and
Live TV Stream will stop after 7 hours if the channel has not been changed.
Much like other streaming platforms, InfiniTV will assume you’re snoozing or
away from the TV.
How do I scroll through all the channel listings quickly in the Live TV
Guide?
Press and hold the up or down button on your remote. After a moment, the
channels will start going by in ultra-fast speed. Release the button when you
are close to the channel you’re looking for. Then press and release the button
to scroll one channel at a time.
Can you make a favorites list of your shows on the InfiniTV box?
No, you aren’t able to make a list of your favorite shows on the InfiniTV box.
Although the box will make recommendations for shows for you to watch, you can
always navigate quickly to your favorite shows by using the Categories we have
set up for you! (Sports, Lifestyle, News, Kids, etc.)
Can you pause Live TV?
Yes, you can pause Live TV for five minutes before the show will start playing
again automatically. Pausing from more than 5 mins on a live channel, you will
jump to real-time when you resume.
If I leave the InfiniTV app when I go back in, will it resume the same
channel I watched before I left?
If you open the app within 15 mins of watching a live channel, this channel
will be resumed. Otherwise, the first channel in the Guide will start playing
(ch 1 or ch 2). If you’re watching a VOD title, the VOD title will resume if
you’re within 15 mins. Otherwise, the first channel in the Guide will start
playing (ch 1 or ch 2)
How do you go back to the current time without scrolling through the
guide?
Press and hold the back button on your remote until you are back at the
current time.
Do I only see the channels I subscribe to?
You will only be able to see the channels you are subscribed to.
What is Restart and Lookback?
Restart: With Westman InfiniTV, you have the freedom to restart shows in
progress with Restart TV
- Look for the restart symbol
- Click “Enter” on the show to watch it
- Press “Enter” to bring up the Live TV options
- Click the button to restart the program
Lookback:
With Westman InfiniTV, you have the freedom to go back in time to watch a show
with Lookback TV.
- Scroll back in time on your grid-style guide, using the left navigation on your InfiniTV remote
- Select your desired program highlighted in grey on your grid-style guide
- Select “Enter” twice to bring up show details
- Select “Play” to watch your show
*Restart, Lookback, fast-forward, and rewind are available only on select channels.
How many hours can you go back on Lookback?
You can go back up to 72 hours on select channels.
Can you skip commercials while using Restart or Lookback?
You will not be able to fast-forward to skip commercials while using Restart
or Lookback functionality.
How do I record a TV show or series?
On the features bar of the InfiniTV app, select “Recordings” from the list of
options. Here you will find your recorded series, scheduled recordings, and
your DVR quota (What space is left for new recordings). You can record a show
or movie when you are in the “Live TV Guide” or your “My InfiniTV” by choosing
the show or movie you wish to record and then clicking “Record” or “Series
Record.” If you are watching a live show and you wish to record it, just click
“Enter/OK” to select the show and then “Enter/OK” again to display options and
then select “Record.” The recording will be available once the program
finishes; otherwise, it will play on the live channel.
How many shows can I record at once?
The Westman InfiniTV gives you endless possibilities with recordings, as you
can record an unlimited amount of shows at once!
How do I delete a recorded show or series?
In your InfiniTV app features bar, go to “Recordings.” Select the program you
want to delete, then “OK.” Navigation to the > right. That will bring up your
recording options. Go to “Manage Recordings,” then click on “Delete Episode.”
Click on the “Back” button if you change your mind. In that same menu, all the
options are: “Play,” “Resume,” “Manage Recordings,” and “Protect Recording.”
How do I cancel a scheduled recording or series?
To cancel a recording, go to “Manage Recordings” then “Cancel Series” You can
also “Update Series Recording Options” here as well. Note that only the
“Delete Episode” option will display if it’s not a series recording.
Can I watch a show while it’s being recorded?
Yes, you can watch a show as it is being recorded; you can also watch any show
while other shows are being recorded.
What happens if a live event I have scheduled to record goes into
overtime?
A recorded sporting event or awards show, for example, is recorded for the
hours that it is scheduled to be on TV. If the Winnipeg Jets are on the TV
guide from 7:00 pm until 9:00 pm, it will record those exact hours. If the
game goes into overtime and goes past 9:00 pm, it will not continue to record
the game. We suggest that you also schedule the show to run after the game to
record, so you won’t miss it if it goes over the scheduled time.
Can I download my InfiniTV recordings on my Android Devices to watch
outside the home?
No, you are not able to download your recordings to your other devices and
watch them elsewhere. However, you can watch all your favourite shows on
watchTVeverywhere.ca on your devices and take them anywhere.
What is A-Z Categories?
You no longer have to scroll through the channel guide to find what you would
like to watch. We have designed a categories option in the features bar for
easy navigation of channels. There you will find categories like News,
Networks, Sports, Kids, Movies, and more. Pick a category that you love, and
then select one of the channels within that section.
What is a Westman GO App?
You can stream your favorite TV programs anywhere, anytime, using Westman GO
Apps. Watch On-Demand shows, movies, sports, and news on your InfiniTV box at
no additional cost. Our GO Apps included A&E, CTV, Crave, Global, Sportsnet
NOW, FXNOW Canada, Hollywood Suite, Stingray Music, TSN GO, and WWE Network.
To download a GO app, you will need to go to the Android TV home page by
selecting the “Android Home” button on your remote. In the ‘Get more apps’
section, find your desired GO App by selecting “Search” on the screen’s top
right-hand side. You can then enter the name of the GO App you are looking
for.
How to sign up for GO Apps?

Select “Westman Communications Group” from the select your TV provider drop-down menu

You will receive a confirmation email with the activation link for you to log into watchTVeverywhere.ca
*Note, all the channels that you are subscribed to will need to be authenticated after downloading the app onto your InfiniTV. Just follow the on-screen instructions. If you’re on another device, all of the channels you are subscribed to will show up, just click on the link, and it will take you to that channel’s Go App page, where you can start watching your favorite shows!
How do I download streaming services such as Amazon Prime Video?
To download your favorite apps, such as Amazon Prime Video or Disney+, select
the “Google Play” button on your remote. From the Android Home screen, click
on the “Apps” icon, then “Get More Apps.” When the Google Play menu opens, you
can download your favorite apps such as Netflix and Crave. Just navigate with
your remote to browse or search. When in the search bar, you can also select
the “Speak to Search” option.
How to fast forward or rewind a show?
While watching a show, press the “OK” button located at the center of your
navigation control on your remote. A display screen with different options
will appear to overtopping of the show you are watching (you will still see
the show in the back). To fast forward or rewind (if available on the show),
toggle down until the blue progress bar is highlighted, then navigate left and
right to get to the point of the show you want.
How to find the full details (information) on a show?
To get the full details on the show you are watching, press the “OK” button
located at the center of your navigation control on your remote. A display
screen with different options will appear to overtopping of the show you are
watching. To find out the full details of the show, navigate down and click on
the “i” symbol, and press “OK.”
When I’m using my InfiniTV, what can I do at home or away?

Does InfiniTV support both HD and SD programming?
Yes, while the majority of the InfiniTV in HD, you can still enjoy a few SD
channels, as well. You can enjoy both HD and SD programming in a crisp viewing
experience.
Choosing an On-Demand video
Get what you want, when you want. You can access TV On Demand or Movies On
Demand, and more with our On-Demand sections. On the feature bar of the
InfiniTV app, make your selection from the list of On Demand options. The
format will be laid out with poster art and have different subject titles such
as “Global On-Demand,” “CTV On Demand,” and “Family On Demand.”
Multiple User Profiles
In the Westman InfiniTV, app features bar on the left-hand side; scroll down
to your profile name and select “Users,” then “Add User.” Enter your Master
PIN, then the “Checkmark” to proceed. Enter the new username, then click on
the “Checkmark” to proceed to set a new user PIN for that profile; click on
the “Checkmark.” Enter the PIN again to confirm. Choose a new Avatar by
clicking on the image of your choice. Now you can have up to 6 different users
to customize your experience. Note, you can edit your user profiles at any
time!
How many User Profiles Can I have?
You can have six different user profiles at once on your Westman InfiniTV
account.
How do I turn on/off Parental Control?
Use parental controls to restrict what programming can be viewed based on
content *ratings and warnings. When parental controls are enabled, restricted
content cannot be viewed. You can set different parental levels on each sub-
account. Only the master (main) account can enable or disable parental
controls using the master PIN.
Enable Parental Controls

From the Android TV home screen, select the InfiniTV app.

Go to the features bar (by pressing the My TV button) and select your profile.

Select “User” then “Edit User” on the profile you want to control.

Then select “Parental Controls”.
-
Select your choice for the following and press the “OK” button.
· Movie rating · TV rating and Flags · Allowance -
Enter the master PIN number and make your selection.

Click on the “Back” button. To disable parental controls, you need to be in the master profile, then repeat steps 1 – 7, and select disable “Parental Controls”. *Parental controls for InfiniTV are based on the USA rating system. Any item below the selection will be blocked content.
Channel-lock
When a channel is locked, the parental controls password must be entered to
view the channel. You can lock specific channels or all channels.
How do I change my PIN number?
You can change your pin by going into your Profile in your InfiniTV app, which
is located at the bottom of the features bar. You will select “Users” and then
select “Edit User” then “Change PIN.” Enter a new PIN, then re-enter the new
PIN to confirm.
Can you cast to the InfiniTV box?
Certain apps allow you to cast to your TV. To cast, simply use the following
steps:
- Open a Google cast compatible app on your mobile phone.
- Navigate to the screen you wish to cast.
- Tap on the cast iron and then select your Android TV.
To cast from Google Chrome, click the “Settings Icon” in. located on the top right-hand corner of the browser, then click “Cast”
What do the buttons on my InfiniTV remote do?
*Note, that some buttons are not programmed to work with your device at this time.
Is there a caller ID display?
No, there is no caller ID display on your InfiniTV box.
