Please read these instructions carefully and keep them for future reference
Please read the following information carefully before using the appliance for the first time for your own safety and to ensure correct use.

SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

When using any electrical appliance, basic safety precautions should always be followed, including the following:

  1. This product is not a toy. It should not be used by children or infirm persons without supervision.
  2. Children of less than 3 years should be kept away unless continuously supervised.
  3. The device must not be used if it has been dropped, obvious signs of damage are visible
  4. CAUTION — Some parts of this product can become very hot and cause burns. Particular attention has to be given where children and vulnerable people are present.
  5. This appliance can be used by children aged 8 years and above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning the use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved. Children shall not play with the appliance.
  6. Do not use this heater with a programmer, timer, separate remote-control system, or any other device that switches the heater on automatically, since a fire risk exists if the heater is covered or positioned incorrectly.
  7. Disconnect from mains when not in use or cleaning.
  8. Do not operate the appliance with a damaged cord or plug. If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer or its service agent, or a similarly qualified person in order to avoid a hazard.
  9. It is not recommended to use an extension cord.
  10. The heater is hot when in use. To avoid burns, do not let bare skin touch hot surfaces.
  11. Do not immerse the cord, plug, or any part of the appliance in water or any other liquid.
  12. Do not use the heater in dusty environments or where flammable vapors are present (e.g. in a workshop or garage).
  13. Do not place the heater on or near any other source of heat.
  14.   Warning: in order to avoid overheating, do not cover the heater.
  15. A fire may occur if the heater is covered with or touches flammable material, including curtains, drapes, bedding, etc. when in operation. KEEP THE HEATER FROM SUCH MATERIALS.
  16. The heater must not be located immediately below a socket outlet.
  17. Do not use this heater in the immediate surroundings of a bath, a shower, or a swimming pool.
  18. Do not let the main lead hang over the edge of the table or work surface or touch hot surfaces.
  19. Do not use outdoors.
  20. Do not use the appliance for other than its intended use. This appliance is intended for household use only.
  21. Do not misuse the cord or pull the cable to disconnect it from the outlet. Instead, grasp the plug and pull it to disconnect.
  22. Do not attempt to repair, disassemble or modify the appliance. There are no user-serviceable parts inside.
  23. Do not insert or allow foreign objects to enter the ventilation or exhaust openings as this may cause an electric shock, fire, or damage to the appliance.
  24. When the heater is turned on for the first time, it may release a slight, harmless odor. This odor is a normal occurrence caused by the initial heating of the internal heating elements and should not occur again.
  25. Please do not put any unit on the product.
  26. In order to avoid any accident, please turn off the unit when people leave.
  27. Please do not use the product when there are no people to take care of children, animals,s or disabled people.
  28. If do not use the product for a long time, please disconnect the plug, put the product into the box, and stock the product in a dry and ventilated place.
  29. When using the product, please do not locate the air outlet and inlet next to the wall or curtain to avoid obstructing the air and influencing the effect.
  30. Please do not use the product in the direct sunshine.
  31. The inflammable or explosive article is not allowed to be put around the heater. The product is not allowed to be used in an environment filled with inflammable air or dust.
  32. Please do not let the power cord touch the front net cover in order to avoid the high temperature damaging the power cord.
  33. Do not hang the wet clothes above the heater.
  34. The voltage and frequency of the power supply must comply with the technical specification of the heater.
  35. Not allowed to impinge or shake the unit when it is in operation.
  36. Please keep the wind inlet & outlet unblocked, to avoid any malfunction appearance, such as distortion, changing color, etc.
  37. Do not let the power cord at the wind outlet, it will damage the insulation layer of wires.
  38. Ensure no water or raindrop into the unit, in order to avoid electric shock, short circuit, or fire.
  39. Clean the surface of the unit with a damp cloth (or add some detergent). Do not use corrosive detergent or solvent to clean. Not allowed to wash directly with water.
  40. Do not handle the power cord and plug with wet hands.
  41. Do not insert the wood or metal stick or other slim objects into the air inlet or outlet.
  42. Do not put heavy objects onto the power cord.
  43. Do not face the wind outlet to babies for a long time.
  44. Means for disconnection must be incorporated in the fixed wiring in accordance with the wiring rules.
  45. This appliance may be used by children of at least 8 years of age, as long as they are supervised and have been given instructions about using the appliance safely, and are fully aware of the dangers involved.
  46. Cleaning and maintenance should not be carried out by children unless they are at least 8 years of age and are supervised by an adult.
  47. Keep the appliance and its power cord out of reach of children under 8 years of age.
  48. When using electrical equipment, safety precautions must always be taken to prevent the risk of fire, electric shock, and/or injury in the event of misuse.
  49. Make sure that the voltage rating on the type plate corresponds to the main voltage of your installation. If this is not the case, contact the dealer and do not connect the unit.
  50. Never leave the unit unattended while in operation.
  51. Please keep this document at hand and give it to the future owner in case of transfer of your device.

LOCATION

1. The appliance should be placed at a minimum distance of 90 cm away from flammable objects (e.g. curtains), walls, or other structures!

BEFORE USE

  1. Before use, remove all packaging and inspect the appliance for any damages. If there appear to be any damages, please take it back to place of purchase for a replacement.
  2. Ensure that all the accessories are included as per the diagram above before you can continue with the installation.
  3. Ensure that the location of the heater installed is not directly under a power socket and that a power socket is available to power the appliances for use.
  4. Refer to the installation guide for further instruction.

USING THE HEATER

POWER AND HEAT SETTINGS

0….. OFF
*….. Fan only operation
1 …..LOW heat setting (750W)
2 …..HIGH heat setting (1500W)

THERMOSTAT

Set the thermostat to “max.” and operate the appliance until the desired room temperature is reached. Turn the thermostat anticlockwise until the appliance switches off with an audible “click”.

This set temperature will be kept almost constant by the appliance switching on and off automatically.
Please note that the appliance does not switch on unless the thermostat setting is higher than the room temperature.

OSCILLATION
Turn on and off the oscillation function using the oscillation switch.

TIP-OVER SWITCH

Your heater is designed to automatically shut the heater off when tipped forward or backward. The unit will automatically turn on once it is returned to its normal upright position.

Do not use on thick and long pile carpets, as the heater may not work, due to the tip-over switch not being activated.

MAINTENANCE

  • Your appliance must be switched OFF via the main power supply and unplugged before proceeding with any cleaning work.
  • Clean the housing with a lightly damp cloth, a vacuum cleaner, or a dusting brush.
  • Never use flammable or abrasive cleaning agents such as benzene or spirit to clean the appliance.
  • Never immerse the appliance in the water!
  • Clean the air inlet and outlet regularly with a vacuum cleaner.
  • If the appliance is not used for an extended period it must be protected against excessive dust and dirt. Please dismount the heater and store it in a dry place away from sunlight and dirt.
