RARAT PREVENTION TIPS
Rats are a common occurrence and venture into your home to find food and heat. Help stop infestations before they happen by following these handy tips:
- Store extra food in sealed containers. Especially food stored in basements or garages (like pet food or bird food).
- Keep garbage can lids tightly closed.
- Cover all openings into your home especially in attics, basements, and garages. Rats can get into very small places.
- Trim tree branches so that they are away from your home.
TREATMENT TIPS
- For best results, place 2 traps 5–10ft apart.
- Target areas with high rat activity where smudge marks or droppings are discovered.
- Limit all other competitive food sources in your home. Store food in sealed containers, including dog and bird food.
HOW TO USE
- READY
- Bait trap by placing Tomcat ® Attractant Gel or food (such as peanut butter) in the baitwell.
- SET
- Place trap facing wall where you see rat activity. Press set-arm with your foot or hand. You will hear a “click” when set.
- DISPOSE
- Use the convenient grab tab to dispose. No need to touch the rat.
