CHEFMASTER HED232 Soup Kettle
OVERVIEW
Read and understand all instructions before using this appliance. CAUTION! HOT SURFACE! HIGH TEMPERATURE!
Warnings
- Do not use this product outside.
- This appliance must be placed on a level surface.
- Do not leave this appliance unattended while it is in use.
- Never immerse the appliance in water.
- Do not operate the kettle while it is empty.
- Do not overfill the appliance with water.
- Never move or carry the kettle when it is “ON” or if it is full of hot liquids.
- Do not attempt to repair or replace the power cord if it becomes damaged. Contact aqualified service agent.
- Be careful not to touch any hot surfaces. Make sure the power cord does not come in contact with any hot surfaces.
- Always switch off and disconnect the power supply to the appliance when not in use.
- This product is not designed to be used by persons with reduced physical or mental capabilities, lack of experience or knowledge, unless they are given suitable supervision, this includes children.
Operation
Carefully unpack the soup kettle warmer and inspect it for damage.

Add 0.6 liters of water to the kettle before placing the soup kettle insert into the warmer.
Never over-fill with water. Under no circumstances should the inner container float even when empty. If the container floats, remove any excess water immediately. -
Turn the warmer on. The indicator light will glow, showing that the unit is on. Adjust the temperature control dial to the correct setting:
- Settings 8-12 are designed for initial warm-up
- Normal control settings range from1-8
- Once the kettle has reached the desired temperature, adjust the temperature control dial to a lower setting. It is recommended that the lowest possible setting that maintains food serving temperatures be used.
Note :The soup kettle is not designed to cook soup/sauce or to heat the foods from cold.
- Always keep the lid closed when not serving.
Cleaning and Maintenance
- Always unplug the kettle when not in use.
- Before cleaning disconnect the soup kettle from the electricity supply.
- Spilt food on the appliance should be removed immediately.
- The exterior of the soup kettle should be cleaned with a warm, damp cloth. Do not use harsh or abrasive chemicals or scouring agents.
- The inner container and Lid are dishwasher-safe.
- Never immerse the appliance in water.
- Always clean your Chefmaster Soup Kettle daily.

Under WEEE regulations this product must not be disposed of as household waste. To prevent damage to the environment and humans this product must be disposed of in an approved and environmentally friendly recycling process.
