Connecting a PATRIOT-3000AC kit to a Wireless Network

First of all, ensure the Patriot-USB antenna is properly connected into the 3000AC router and then power up the router.
Next, you must either connect an Ethernet cable from one of the router’s LAN ports into a computer or you must connect a wireless device (Phone, Tablet, Laptop, etc.) to the 3000AC router’s WiFi signal. This WiFi signal will have the SSID of WL-PATRIOT-3000AC-KIT.
When you are connected to the router, go into your Web Browser (Chrome, Safari, etc.) and type 192.168.45.1 into the address bar along the top of the page. This will bring you to the router’s login page.Solwise-PATRIOT-3000AC-

Type in your own custom password for the router’s web interface’s and click ‘Save’. Saving a new password will cause the router to reboot and this custom password you entered will now be the router’s WiFi password.
If you have connected to the router over WiFi, you will now need to go back into your device’s WiFi settings and reconnect to the WL-PATRIOT-3000AC-KIT signal, this time entering in the password you just gave it. When you’ve reconnected, get back to the 192.168.45.1 page and log in.

Once you have logged in to the router, you should be brought straight through to a wireless network scanning page as long as the USB antenna is inserted correctly. Solwise-PATRIOT-3000AC-Kit-to-Wireless-

In the list of nearby wireless networks, click the WiFi signal from outside that you are trying to extend (if you’re on a public campsite, this will be the campsite’s WiFi for example). You will then need to enter in this network’s WiFi password (if there is one) and click ‘Confirm’.Solwise-

If all of these steps have been followed correctly, your router should now be successfully connected to the external wireless network – you can tell because the Status will be ‘Linked / Internet accessible’.
If the WiFi signal you’re connecting to has a landing page/voucher system, you won’t have full internet access yet until you get redirected to that landing page.
