Installation Precautions
- This rear camera is very suitable for rear view and front view. Does not include monitor/LCD/screen/display/radio.
- When connecting different radio stations using different wiring harnesses and factory radios, suitable wiring harnesses and programmers (not included, because different radios require different wiring harnesses and programmers) will help you complete the installation more efficiently.
- You can put tape on the connection of the red power cord and RCA cable and fix it on the vehicle with a pull cord.
- If your main unit has a reverse trigger cable, usually a pink cable, find it and connect it to the trigger cable well (short red cable next to the RCAIAV connection) of the extension cable.
- When the image on the screen is blurry, flickering/flickering or horizontal or vertical stripes appear, please check all video plugs with electronic tops to preventBV interference. If it is still blurry, flickering/flickering, or horizontal or vertical stripes, you can use the 12V DC power adapter filter rectifier, especially Dodge VW AUDI BMW Mercodes Bens brand cars.
- Before routing. If there is no image on the screen, in addition to checking the camera, please also check the display settings. You can use other equipment with an RCA interface (such as a TV) to check whether the camera is working. When this is connected to camera ready Sony Radio with display, will it turn on automatically when vehicle is put in reverse or do you do it manually?
When I plugged this into the wiring already run to the licence plate area of my truck, it worked perfectly. I did not have to do a thing. When I shifted into Reverse it worked. I am impressed given the cost and would not hesitate to recommend this product. I have an alpine aftermarket in a 2007 dodge Ram -

You will need to go into your radio settings to turn your camera on or make sure there is not another connection on your radio which needs to be hooked up. -
Will this camera hook up to a CD player with a 7″ display?
If it has camera capabilities yes I have it on my pioneer hooked to a swatch so I can turn it on and off when I want to so I can see my trailer while towing not just backing up. -
Will it work on a single din stereo system?
I don’t think it makes a difference for single or double din. But a single din screen would be awfully small. -
Will the light stay on even when not in reverse? i need a license plate light.
No. This is a backup camera, license plate frame and a light for the backup camera at night when the car’s transmission is in reverse. -
Can this fit on 2013 Nissan altima?
Yes mine is on a 2011 Altima coupe you just need a camera input on your head unit and it’s a pretty easy hook up and works great -
What angle (field of view) is this camera/lens?
This camera does not work without a monitor, I sent it back and never got my money back. -

Can the camera be flipped upside down so the camera is at the bottom of the frame? Is there a way to flip its orientation in the camera output?
You can flip the camera mechanically by unscrewing the mounts from the plate frame on the sides of the camera and flipping the camera over (4 small #0PH screws on the back side). The image cannot be flipped electronically like on some of the cameras. -
