Solar Water Feature

Outdoor use
These instructions contain important information which is required when using
this product for the first time. Please ensure you read all the following
information carefully before first use. Please retain this information for
future reference.
Note:
- Charge the pump unit for a minimum of 1-2 days before the pump is used for the first time.
- The LED lights will only work when it is dark. To test them during the day, turn the solar panel upside down and minimize exposure to sunlight.
- The LED lights have been pre-assembled in the fountain body and cannot be removed.
OVERVIEW
1.1 The solar pump is designed for use with the accompanying fountain only.
For outdoor use only. In order to make the solar pump work, the solar panel
requires direct sunlight. When there is sufficient sunlight, the solar pump
will start to work automatically. It will stop working when the solar panel
does not get sufficient light. If the fountain is used in the evening, the
built-in LEDs will automatically light up to enhance the water feature.
1.2 This solar panel contains a battery pack. When the battery pack is charged
it will be used to run the pump and LEDs when there is insufficient sunlight.
It can be switched on and off using the switch on the back of the solar panel.
ASSEMBLING AND USING YOUR PRODUCT
2.1 Carefully remove all of the components out of the packaging.
2.2 Fill the fountain with clean tap water.
2.3 Place the pump into the reservoir ensuring that it is fully submerged
under the water.
2.4 Connect the cable from the pump to the back of the solar panel, ensuring
the connection is secure and tightly fastened.
2.5 Connect the LED light cable to the female socket, attached to pump. Ensure
the connection is secure and tightly fastened.
2.6 Place the solar panel in an area where the maximum amount of sunlight is
possible.
2.7 Press the on/off switch on the back of the solar panel to turn the pump
on. WARNING
- For decorative purposes only.
- Keep out of reach of children and animals.
Risk of strangulation.
- Keep away f rom sources of heat.
- Check regularly for signs of wear and tear, discontinue use immediately if damaged.
- Dispose of product accordingly. Individual LED bulbs cannot be replaced.
- Do not allow the pump to run dry.
- Do not lift the pump with the power cord.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
Pump: After a period of time, the pump may start to lose power or stop working. Check for a buildup of sediment, scale or dirt in the filter. Remove the pump cover and the impeller cover. Clean and rinse them thoroughly with fresh water only.Solar panel: The panel should be cleaned regularly with a soft damp cloth only. Do not use chemical, solvents, or abrasive cleaning materials. Regular cleaning of the panel is advised to maintain optimum performance.
TROOBLESHOOTING
6.1 The pump does not operate even though the solar module is in full
sunlight.
No connection to the solar panel – check connections to the solar panel.
Impeller is blocked – To clean the pump, remove the front plate and the
impeller. Use a small soft4 brush or run under a tap to remove any debris.
6.2 The pump does operate but there is no water running through the
fountainhead – check for a buildup of sediment or scale in the tubes or the
filter- clean the tubes and the filter.
STORAGE
7.1 Please charge the battery for 1-2 days in direct sunlight after a
prolonged period of storage.
7.2 In order to maintain the life of the battery, please charge the solar
panel to the fully charge status before storing.

OPERATING INSTRUCTION
Turn on the solar mode: for first time to use, press the button to turn on the
pump, the pump will run, (ref to battery status) in battery mode and switch to
solar mode automatically. The pump will stop working when light becomes
limited, it will automatically begin operating again the next day once it is
in direct sunlight (solar mode). For general daily use, it is recommended to
keep the fountain running in solar mode. Turn on the battery mode: in the
nighttime or on a cloudy day, if you need the pump to run, press the switch
again to turn on the battery mode, the pump will run, (ref to battery status)
until the battery runs out. The pump will turn back to solar mode
automatically the next time the panel is placed in direct sunlight. Stopping
the pump: Press the button and hold the switch for 3 seconds. This will switch
off the pump.
Quick charge the battery: Under good conditions, solar power will run the pump
and any additional energy will be used to the battery at the same time. To
charge the battery quickly, press and hold the on/off switch 3 seconds to turn
OFF the pump. The battery will then continue to charge until full whilst in
sunlight. Battery status: Green: Battery is fully charged. The pump will run
around 4-6 hours.
Orange: Battery is half charged. The pump will run around 2-4 hours. Red:
Battery needs charges. The pump will run less than 1 hour.
Note: The indicator light blinks when the pump is on. The indicator light
is solid when the pump is off and charging battery. To protect the battery,
don’t manually turn on the pump frequently.
